Greek...what's the big deal about a rat video at a KFC in NY ? Nobody complains about Hillary Clinton. And she's the biggest NY rat of them all. Sho-nuff !
Steve, Greek was actually trying to be funny. I suppose he was referring to (black people) as the monkeys he usually see at KFC, now it's the rats. He's an ignorant fool, that's why I didn't respond to his ignorance.

Yes, I'm a racist P.O.S.

Putting others down makes me feel better about myself, truth is that I'm the one who is the monkey... a ignorant, pathetic, little monkey...

LISAAAA, I apoligize, it was the quote from ABC that i wanted to respond to, not yours.
I also did read that the Rat was posing and doing some sort of tricks and was in a frenzy due to the light on the camera.
I must ask and hope that someone would respond with an intelligent answer. Who walks up the window of a resturant many hours after it is closed and looks to see what is going on, unless the person had something to gain. Like a worker bringing a box containing Rats into the resturant with a loose cover, and after lights were out they got out. I can see a few roaming around, but as many as there was, they were planted.
I am with you. Who stops and looks in a dark resturaunt window? I don't look because I am afraid to see what mught be in them, lol. I always hear about things like this when some show is doing some expose. I remember a few years back they were talking about Dunkin Donuts and they had camera's showing rats in one of the dunkin donuts. Now I always thought rats ran when they saw lights or crowds of people. That is how they are able to survive. Since when do they stop to pose for a viewing audience in a big window. If I hear another story about a Yum company in the NY area know it is something fishy. What's next Wendy's, or Pizza hut?

Here's a thought, maybe these rats were dumped off by animal rights group and the people who took the footage were paid to be witnesses to the staged event. This could also be applied to the Taco Bell scare...

I don't know it all seems unreal, if the Board of Health was there 12/6/06 and found several issues(no one has stated what they were yet) I believe the resturant has what 30 or 60 days to fix the problems by than the Board of Health comes back for re-inspection. With that being said if there were signs of a rat infestation as bad as we have seen now why didn't they shut it down 12/6 or is really possible that it got that bad in 2 months? I smell a rat...

I have seen very poor conditions in the dishwashing area of a Toco Bell as well. With individuals washing dishes with no idea of what they were doing. Stuffing towels in drains rather than repairing them and not changing the water when it was cold and full of food stuff. Along with young adults or should I say teens serving food, mixing food, and not washing their hands after visiting the toliets, licking their fingers, and wearing the same clothing shift after shift without washing them. The list could go on and on.

The way to kill of the KFC rats is to feed them the Taco Bell green onions.

This is just a "drop in the bucket" Most people if they were to ride around on any day with a health inspector making random inspections would NEVER eat out again. I have seen it, it is truly disgusting. even the places that look amazingly clean they can be overrun with German cockroaches and other vermin.

Maybe New Yorkers should start accepting rat as part of our diet, first the Chinese restaurants and now this! It is a pure embarrassment to New York
