Yum CEO awarded major compensation boost

David Novak, chief executive officer of Louisville-based Yum! Brands, saw his base pay and bonus jump 33 percent last year to $6.06 million. via The Courier-Journal

Great, may be the greedy bastard will use some of this money to keep our stores from being understaffed, would greatly reduce the frustrations that thousands of workers and managers are facing right now.

How much is a PR face worth? If it wasn't for International, YUM would be cutting Novak's salary.

Hey great! My friend just told me KFC in the Colorado area stopped letting their workers take a meal home after their shift. They have to eat their meal in the lobby?!? What the hell is the difference? My friend wants to go home ASAP with his meal, that way customers won't pester him about not helping out in the kitchen even though his shift is over! Yet again more corporate fat cats trying to make the biggest profit so they can continue living the good life.

Perhaps its time for a lot of the good ole USA to have a big national strike much like what happens in Europe, France, etc.
