Oprah Winfrey is in very hot water after a video surfaced featuring the talk show host queen denouncing Christianity and denying Jesus Christ. via The Post Chronicle

I can only wonder how strong Oprah's faith actually was while in the Baptist Church and does she read the same Bible that I do. Please pray especially for our youth and children.

I think that the time when she was in the baptist church was not too long after she was molested as a child. Could it be that she has an unseen built up resentment of God. She certainly sounds like a person who holds God accountable for her sufferings and this is why she now denies Jesus Christ as Lord. Many of us grew up blaming God for not being there for us at one time or another, however we later realized that he has always been there for us. Everything she speaks of now is contrary to the word of God. Because Jesus is the Word, everything she professes now can be considered anti Biblical or ANTICHRIST. I pray that all who have come to know the Lord do not fall into this trap. She will have to stand before the Lord for this some day. We must keep her in prayer.

I am boycotting Oprah and also the advertisers on her show. She may be billionair but so far I have never seen a Brinks truck at the cemetary. She has sold her soul to the devil and Obama. I will never watch her show again. There is only one way to Heaven--Jesus Christ our Lord. John 3:16. I have been taught that all of my life. I am 62 and am not about to believe Oprah Winfrey. She doesn't realize that God could take everything from her in a split second.

On You-Tube I recently watched a previous Winfrey Special, where she herself said she does not believe there is only one way to God, which is through Jesus Christ, but there are MANY ways to God.

you know all these teachings including ophra's MANY WAYS TO HEAVEN shows me that the phrophecy in the bible is happening. Because by the end of the day i know that people start worship them selves and not God and they even deny the Jesus the savior. So it is all about spritual battle. And i think that Ophrah is being part of this battle which reveles fromm which side she is.

let us wake up and take our part in this battle.

i don't watch oprah any more even though I watched the show for years. It used to be a good show. I dont believe my God would approve of what she is saying. I know we all have our own gods, but the only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ. We can make a god out of anything but that does not make it the God.

When Jesus and any number of other teachers of old, talked about being the "..Way the Truth and the Light.." They were speaking as one who was ONE WITH SPIRIT. In THAT context, what Jesus was actually saying was that SPIRIT was the Way the Truth and the Light and noone comes to God except thru SPIRIT!! He was not speaking of himself personally. The reason why he chose to use the 'personal' pronoun, instead of saying Spirit, was that the consciousness of the people was quite low, and required that Higher Teachings come thru a Personality, rather than the Higher but more generic 'Spirit'.

At the time of the Transfiguration, Moses and Elijah appeared to Jesus and spoke to him. Jesus hadn't gone to the cross yet, but Moses and Elijah had been dead for centuries. Obviously, they had already Gone to Heaven, without his sacrifice. Along with many other saints and good people of numerous other religions. God provides for all. Trust me, Jesus would be the first to point this out, if he were here today. He spoke to the people of his time. Today, the message would come out much higher and better. Sir, you are incorrect on many accounts.
First, Jesus was the only one who said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life". Secondly, He said "Life" not "Light" (John 14:6) Third, Jesus was speaking as Himself and specifically said "He" was the way. He did not say that "spirit" was the way. And yes, He was speaking of Himself personally. Additionally, He said "no one comes to the father but through Me". Sir, it is important for you to understand that The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ specifically teaches that the ONLY way to Heaven is through Faith in Jesus Christ. He was the one who died for us. He gets all the glory. He will be the one to judge you! He is the one you have to go through to get to heaven. He is the God man Jesus Christ (God in the flesh).

Finally, it is very well understood by all true Christians that even the old testament saints, Moses, Elijah, Abraham and others who believed, all made it to Heaven by believing and trusting in the Savior to come (the Messiah, Jesus). The old testament looked forward to the Savior to come, the new testament reveals the Savior that was and is. Everyone who has ever lived past, present and future has the same requirement to be given eternal life in Heaven. That requirement is to believe that Jesus is Lord and Savior. Ephesians 2:8-9 says that "by Grace we are saved, through Faith and that not of ourselves, it is a gift of God, not of works lest any man boast." We are saved by God's Grace through Faith in Jesus as our Savior, NOT BY WORKS and certainly not by believing in any other way! This holds true no matter who you are, what religion you are or even wether you believe it or not. Faith in Christ. He is the only way.

And you Sir, will now have to give an account of your above statement to God. Good luck on that.

By the way, the Spirit is not generic by any means. The Spirit, as well as the Father and the Son (Jesus) are all equal. Three persons in one God. I suggest you spend a little more time studying your Bible and start taking what is says seriously.

That's right one chad. "THE WAY", not "a way". THE WAY (as in the only way) And furthermore mr. higher thinker ( or what ever), Jesus also said the following.
"Broad is the road that leads to destruction and many there are who are on it. Narrow is the way that leads to life and few there are who find it." Of course satan want's all of us to think there are many ways to heaven. Not true. There is only one. And that way is narrow!

So, in my estimate, there seems to be an awful lot of people, in fact a rather massive number of folks on the Oprah/Tolle road. Or rather the broad road.

Dear Truth_leader, could I get your viewpoint on how all the people (billions) who lived and died, for generations, over thousands of years, who never even heard of the teachings of Jesus, how do they get to Heaven?

And what about the 150 billion galaxies out there? Any life on them? Who died for their sins? What's the purpose of keeping this idiot world going, if the only reason to be here is to 'be saved'. Wouldn't God save billions more, simply by ending life here ages ago?

By the way, I have had numerous past-lives dating back to throwing stone spears at mastedons. I've been an Aztec, before the Christian missionaires, I've been a Buddhist, a Hindu, an Egyptian (mystery schools) Greek, Muslim, and yes, a Baptist Minister in Kansas in the old west.

I'm here in a new life. What I discovered, is that God created all religions just as they are, with all their truths, half-truths, and outright falsehoods for the purpose of training and testing Souls. This world is just a school, that's all it is. It is not a mistake. A fallen angel isn't running rampant over innocent Souls, snaring them into eternal damnation. God does not burn his children. All things are as they should be.

I hope to graduate this lifetime and become a co-worker and co-creator with God in the Worlds of Pure Spirit. Which, by the way, is the destiny of ALL SOULS. God hasn't lost a Soul since the beginning of Creation. And never will. It's just a matter of growing up. Good luck with your journey.

I will pray for you. Honestly i will. You just jumped to the top of my prayer list. Were here because God wanted to share the love He had within Him, so He created us. He gave Adam and Eve the freedom to choose right from wrong because forced love is no love at all. Unfortunately they chose wrongly thus referred to as 'the fall of man' but He sent His son, Jesus to pay for our sin by death on a cross. There is a devil, or satan or whatever you want to call him. If I was made to simply be saved I'd probably get taken to heaven straight after saying the 'sinner's prayer'.

We're made to worship him, we're made for his delight and we're made to love him and love one another.

I don't believe other faiths lead to the same place... Espically if they teach different things about him. Things that can tear a person apart or those that seem just like a bunch of rules. Then there is relationship with the father...

This life isn't a test I don't think, it's an assignment, mission and temporary dwelling. And it's not just about going to other people and saying "Oh hey, come convert please please please?"

Along with evangelising out of love we also need to live a life where we do everything in love. To live a life that is pleasing to his name.

@ sad, when Jesus said ye are gods and children of tha most high, He wasn't saying dat we are God or is equal 2 God. It means we are born of God and the same life in him is also At work in us. The statement is meant for only those that are born again, one who blivs and confesses Jesus as lord not to fellows who don't blive in him. Mr sad or whatever u call urselfan I tell u acceptin christ is d most wonderful thing dat can happen to anyone. A life of success and dominion.
