Don't defend Lehmer, it is his Big Head that brought this whole issue to City Council instead of asking the Gas Companies to work with him to resolve his issues. Talk about someone acting childish !!
Through apathy, we vote them in and pay their wages. bummer......
We the people pay them to do this to us.

You can bet that Jason's vote would have been different if he had any rigs out for XTO or Energen.
He does have rigs out for XTO. Do your homework smartass before you speak up and show your lack of intelligence.

<quoted text>I'm not so sure arrogance played a role here. The Oil company in question built a state of the art fence around the well location in order to protect not only the financial interests of the company, but also the children who live in the area. Does the fence cross personal property lines? Yes. Was it done intentionally? No. Will the situation be resolved? Yes. And yes, George Sharpe is a disgrace to this community.
THEY DIDN'T BUILD A NEW FENCE. THERE WAS ALREADY A FENCE AROUND THE LOCATION. IT HAS BEEN THERE FOR A LONG TIME. THEY SIMPLY IMPROVED THE AGED FENCE AND MOVED IT OUT A BIT 30' FROM EQUIPEMENT TO PREVENT VEHICLES (IGNITION SOURCES) FROM DRIVING RIGHT NEXT TO NATURAL GAS CONTAINING EQUIPMENT.

SO, IN THE PAST THIS DR. COULD DRIVE TO HIS LOT ON A WELL LOCATION ROAD WITHOUT DRIVING THROUGH THE LOCATION?

lETS MEET OUT THERE ANY TAKE A LOOK AT IT AND PUT SOME REASON INTO IT.

Take a quess!
At the wellsite
Reason for expanding the original fence and how there is a way to get to a 7 acre piece of land other than the original well site road build when the city was 5 miles away.

Then post a responce to the (waste of paper) article in the Daily-Times. You have a lot a people who just comment to be a part of the popular issue that hates on the oil industry. The oil industry is in Texas and many other places, no here.
