Why is it that this City Council can turn a mole hill into a mountain? Do they enjoy wasting their time and our money playing school kid games?

The Doctor, the Council, and the oil companies need to sit down like mature adults and talk. Who can and cannot do what, and why.

This looks like the same old cr*p about power and money from all concerned.

Meanwhile they laugh about the loss of jobs and tax revenue in Farmington.

It is good to see Sharpe split from Standley and Darnell, two Obamamen. This shows that in Shape's heart he knows that what Standley and Darnell are doing to make Farmington, Obamatown is wrong.

George Sharpe is an absolute joke! He's not on the city council to serve the community. NO NO NO!!! It's all about George Sharpe. If he were to lose his job with Merrion Oil and Gas, he'd be gone. Guarenteed. Just like on the golf course George....You know, when you hit a bad golf shot and throw a temper tantrem and your golf clubs. That's the reputation you've developed at the Country Club. Spoiled cry baby.

I think they need to pull the plug and the equipment from the locations. At the price of gas right now, P & A the wells. Then he can have his precious land back to build whatever he wants. He will probably regret the whole mess when his royality checks stop comming in. They need to quit kissing the Dr.'s a**. They wanna complain about the traffic, the noise, the fences, but take that check away and they will sing a different tune.

He doesn't need the royalty check - he's a doctor. Clue in. He probably expects the companies and the city to do the right thing out of principle. If not we will probably see more lawsuits and the gas companies and city will lose out of ignorance. As long as George Sharpe rants and raves to protect his occupation, the city is at serious financial and legal risk.

I wonderhow much kickback-bonus money George Sharpe was going to recieve for his efforts to thwart the decision? That would be the only reason to create such an outburst, unless he ate enchiladas at Los Hermoshitto's a few hours earlier and suffers from Explosive Bowl Sydrome.

Dr Lehmer does not receive a royalty check from the well site in question. He does not own the land on top of the wellpad. If he did, there would be no controvery concerning the situation. Dr Lehmer has every right to complain and have action taken against the arrogant company who erected the fence.

I'm not so sure arrogance played a role here. The Oil company in question built a state of the art fence around the well location in order to protect not only the financial interests of the company, but also the children who live in the area. Does the fence cross personal property lines? Yes. Was it done intentionally? No. Will the situation be resolved? Yes. And yes, George Sharpe is a disgrace to this community.

Ok, he doesnt have the rights. Thats fine. He isnt making money off the situation, my bad. But you can be sure the company ( companies ) didnt go out and build the fence to keep him off the property he does own. Thats just ignorant of you to claim arrogance on thier part.

They want to build a fence to keep crack headed kids from using the wells to take themselves out of the gene pool. Thus, preventing themselves from being exposed to lawsuits from Springer watching parents and gutter pig trial lawyers.

You can bet that Jason's vote would have been different if he had any rigs out for XTO or Energen.

George Sharpe is spoon fed by Merrion. Don't ever believe that Merrion does not have any interests with XTO or Energen in these wells. Hire a Landman to do a little research if you want to verify the truth.

Don't defend Lehmer, it is his Big Head that brought this whole issue to City Council instead of asking the Gas Companies to work with him to resolve his issues. Talk about someone acting childish !!
