Hard-core deniers assert that the current warming is just part of a natural cycle.

In other words, ExxonMobil knows what carbon pollution is doing to us all, but they've chosen to profit from it however they can, knowing that all of today's top execs will be retired and living large before the public realizes what happened.
Wonder if they'll retire to undisclosed locations in Argentina, like Nazis.

Or in other words, ExxonMobile is aware of climate change and the impacts and is positioning itself to take advantage of new territories for exploration.
"Exxon is not the only big oil company whose actions show it believes climate change to be real."
Is there anyone who believes that climate change is NOT real?
Climate change is real, and if the reality of climate change is that new areas will become available for exploration, then an energy company whoes job is to find new sources of energy is going to take advantage of the situation.
Climate change is not only real but in the opinion of ExxonMobile, and many others, is a natural event. Why wouldn't they take advantage of the new territories.

Bullshit. If ExxonMobil's execs don't believe the united opinion of ALL the world's major national scientific academies, then why have they felt compelled to spend more than $29 million to fund front groups under other names to deny the science? Why hire ex-apologists from the tobacco industry, including master PR puppeteers Burson-Marsteller, and then quietly create a bunch of phony facades like The Global Climate Coalition and The Heartland Institute, secretly funding a little tribe of sellout scientists to cloud the issue in every way possible? That is what vampires do when they fear the light of day, and the analogy could not be more apt.

Does Northie think vampires retire to undisclosed locations in Argentina, like Nazis?
His science works exactly like his politics. That's why Exxon is cashing in, suckers.
When I buy a gallon of gas, except for the ethanol, I get the transportation fuel I want. When I give a dollar to Exxon, it's because they provide what I want, it's not there fault if they have a good product.
Northie is working against every Exxon customer and investor. Little old ladies retirement stock portfolio are being destroyed by government interference in the markets and overspending, and we can thank Al Gore.

Are you serious?
If they don't believe, why wouldn't they seek scientific evidence to support their position?
