Exxon reportedly fights U.S. over major oil discovery
Exxon and the federal government are fighting over one of the largest oil discoveries in the Gulf of Mexico that could yield billions of dollars of crude in coming years, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal.

Since you are looking under rocks under the ocean it is a good demonstration that Peak Oil is here. We stopped discovering oil on land a long time ago.
