They will announce later today, the mill will remain idle into 2010. This will be a best case forecast and anything can happen in the interim. Good luck.

Ya, I know about all the rumors.... We heard a startup for a short order in June, July and August, then shutdown again until 2010. We also heard about consolidating plants - closing some entirely for awhile (possibly 2 years) then if things pick up , restarting. But again, I really don't think anyone knows,'cuz it is SO global this time around. Any more news on your end????

Would you happen to know if they have alot stockpiled down there? We have heard the stockpiles are lean due to the uncertainty of cost of production, etc. If stockpiles are lean, when startup comes they will all go at 100 percent... Let me know....
I also hope that there are no shutdowns.... things would REALLY be bad then (not that they aren't bad enough now.....)))

My husband said they dont have any stock pile at all.. so when and if they start up they will be starting fresh...he works in the coal mill and with his years there thats why he is still working but there is no overtime just the 40 hrs a week ..guess we will all have to just sit and wait like so many are doing..

Well, I guess that is positive - no stockpile - when they start up they will have to hopefully run at full capacity..... There seems to be alot of moving people around (management positions, etc.) Any news on any more cuts involving hourly/salaried? Keep messages coming!
