Vince McMahon on Why WWE Switched to PG

"When talking about why WWE made the switch to PG on MercuryNews.com , Vince McMahon had the following to say: "We just followed our audience and tried to listen to them. It's a more sophisticated product. It's just the right move business-wise, but more specifically the right move in terms of reaching our audience."

How dare Vince McMahon say he lisetened to his audience. LMFAO if McMahon actually listened to us John Morrison, Jake Swagger, Matt Hardy, and Christian would have all been WWE or World Heavyweight Champion by now. If he really listened Randy Orton would have beaten HHH at WrestleMania 25 and The Miz would have beaten Cena at The Bash. If he really listen John Cena would be heel by now and Hornswoggle and Batista would be out of a job with the WWE. This is complete utter B.S. what McMahon is saying.

Its gone PG because hes trying to make it more of a family show, therefore with a PG rating more parents are letting their children watch it and are taking them to house shows which in turn is filling Vince's pocket and making him richer, and while thats happening im afraid the PG era is here to stay. John Cena played a big part in the whole PG era rating aswell, he pushed for it.

the big problem with that reasoning is the over 70% of the WWE audience over 18 years of age.

WWE was the best during the Attitude Era but now it will just get boring and more boring. I mean Hornswoggle even though he's funny, little kids stuff. If WWE wants to get more fans, they should rate it to PG-13 again. But still like WWE.

Am going to start watching TNA better. TNA is not a kids show and it is not rated PG. TNA don't have bad wrestlers such as AJ Styles and many others.

hmmm kids shouldnt be watching WWE but hey...i watched WWE in the Attitude Era and i was 8 so why not change it back to PG-14. kids are gonna watch it anyways. put the fuckin blood, violence, sexuality+sexual humor, profanity ect..back in it!!! DX is crap now cuz they can be like they used to be anymore. john cena helped WWE's PG ratings but that doesnt make the show anymore entertaining. CHAVO GUERRERO IS GETTING FUCKIN OWNED BY A MIDGET!! theres nothing extreme about ECW. theres only 1 fuckin belt. at least bring back the hardcore(<-pg wont allow it) and T.V titles back. i think PG era killed ECW. changing PPV names was stupid, KEEP THE OLD ONES. the storylines...ZzZzZz quit hiring actors to become wrestlers. SOME MISUSED TALENTS: chris jericho, charlie haas, shelton benjamin, natalya neidhart, tommy dreamer, carlito, kane, ect. Vince is saying fuck u to the WWE fans; i just want my $$$$$$$$. if WWE stays PG, sooner or later the kids that grow up now watching it wouldnt wanna watch it when theyre adults. im tourchering myself to watch it anymore but ive grown up with the Attitude Era and im just hangin on but the spotlight is always on the same wrestlers. even though vince says TNA's PG-14 isnt competition cuz of ratings, pretty soon that will change and vince will step it up and grow his balls back. even vince says he doesnt like the PG Era....SO FUCKIN CHANGE IT BACK TO TV-14 AND MAKE BETTER BUSINESS DECISIONS!!!
