As long as people think he's the 'next' anything, it's an indication he hasn't developed enough to be considered a future great in his own right, on his own merit.

Big Show isn't the next Andre the Giant, for instance. He's the Big Show. Will he ever be on par with Andre? No, but he's appreciated for what he is.

It's like who's the next Michael Jordan? No one. Same with Ric Flair. Same with HBK.

what makes you think he needs to work on his mic skills? he beat cena in a battle rap.
and he already got a big push but like many other that was messed up by HHH.

WM?! that's your argument, really? he's got an enormous amount of talent, and just because WWE doesnt use it doesn't mean he isn't credible. Let me put it another way,

Dan Marino never won a superbowl, yet nobody doubts his greatness.

Schawn is and was the legend killer.

From Bret Hart thru Ric Flair.

Brian will never get what Vince did for Shawns career.

Shawn is also a master at Kayfabe.

I already mentioned that he has the talent, I'm just hoping that WWE can make Brian Kendrick look main event material. And that Kendrick can be able to keep his high flying style.

And since I didn't watch Smackdown, I decided to watch it now, and I thought that Kendrick as a heel was great and I liked his cocky smile after he beat that redneck. But it's just that Kendrick should have been built as a heel, not just suddenly appearing as a heel. It just seemed so sudden to me.

I remembered that there were (bare with me, I started watching in 2006) rumours that the Rockers were going to split up, but Shawn said that everything would be fine, but then betrays Jannety with a superkick and throws him through a glass window.

Kendrick should have attacked London for losing so much or he should have abandoned London more often during their matches. They could have Kendrick on the mic after his match to explain himself, like they did with Colin.

Colin's useless. I get your point, but a Lance Cade reference here probably would have been better suited for you.

i remember like probably a year or two ago where kendrick didnt help out london wen london was in trouble
taht was teh time to make him a heel
give him a feud with london for like 3 months and let him go from there
adn maybe if this had happened right now he wouldve been US title level

i agree^^ but i still think kendrick has alot of star power and can be great, its just a matter of racking up wins and being a good heel, if this gimmick he has now dont work he might never get another push in wwe and he knows that he has alot to live up to as wwe is watching his every move and trying to get him to be a great star as wwe needs to make young talent become great, kendrick will face jobbers on smackdown for 3 months or so than we will see what hes made of when he faces guys like mvp, jeff hardy, and maybe if hes lucky one day hhh or edge but kendrick has alot to live up to and has alot on his shoulder and im sure this push was planned weeks before the wwe draft , its just great too see him on tv, hes so talented and can be great if given the chance and now the time has come for kendrick to shine or go home, if he dont shine and become great than he may never get a push in wwe ever again as he has to be great, but atleast hes not losing to umaga every week , which is a great thing

That was a few months ago but I agree, if they were going to break the team up, they should have continued that storyline.

Which is probably why they didn't do it, as they did the Lace Cade/Murdoch one.(just in time too.)

Hell maybe they will use the Brain Kendrick/Paul London storyline some day. We all know it would be an amazing fued, right? Their matches would be amazing. If they are pushed enough they could get a real good fued going, and have gimmick matches or a gimmick match to end their fued at least, like a Ladder or TLC! That would be great.
Depending on how much into the future this is, and how much they both get pushed, this could be over a World Title, other major singles title(IC/US) or in between either of them challenging for the World Title or other title.

Exactly, there will NEVER be another Shawn Michaels. People can compare and dig into theories all they want, but nobody can be somebody else.
It may be true that Shawn trained other Superstars, because he knew they had potential, he gave them a push in the right direction.
The fact that tag-teams turn on each other is,and always will be part of WWE storylines.
If a superstar looks as if they would be more succesful as a singles wrestler; then thats how WWE will make it.
I truly believe that Shawn is the best at what he does. And thats because he worked hard and has earned his status in the business.
Kendrick may become great at what he does if he can do the same.
But please don't compare wrestlers because everyone is an individual.
HBK is a legend who will never be like any1 else.

Think about this:
Shawn Michaels was known for his tag team with Marty Janetty, the Rockers. He betrayed Janetty and turned heel. He eventually got a bodyguard in Diesel, and went on to win the Royal Rumble (twice) and the WWF Championship.
Brian Kendrick was known for his tag team with Paul London, London and Kendrick. He was moved away from London and turned heel. He has a bodyguard named Ezekiel.
Plus Kendrick was trained by Michaels. Any thoughts?
Great f'n theory dude.

see brian kendrick has real talent but right now in every match he has against top main event people the mathces are like squash matches
kendrick is really too small
hes 5 8 i was 5 8 last year and im only 14
so i dont think he is going to get a top push with that height
i noe mysterio had a push but like myesterio is loved by the fans so much and it fit in perfectly with teh eddie shit
kendrick needs strenght to get a push
he should be working out a lot then he should get a push
