I think that the womens division in wwe has gone a bit down hill because there is no storyline or buildup. Thats why the KO division in TNA is better.

Women's division has sucked ever since Trish Stratus, Lita, Molly Holly, Victoria, Chyna, Ivory and Jazz has left. The only good divas in the WWE are Beth Phoenix, Micky James, and Gail Kim, and Natalya.

Only thing to describe this topic is DEAD. The women's division died off when Vince realized that popping his little blue pills and putting a dumb blonde on the cover of Playboy doesn't make the crowd any more interested in them.

It would be cool if there was a women's match that actually was the main event. Can you imagine if they used a steel cage and chairs and things and the match lasted more than 5 min.

Say what you want about TNA, but one of the things they do right is their women's division. The knockouts actually have individual characters, gimmicks, and storylines.They also get WAY more mic time/promos than the divas. Even if some knockouts aren't actually going after the belt, they'll STILL be apart of some sort of angle. Hell, they even have a stable in the Beautiful People.

The WWE don't do this; all of the divas are the same, especially the faces. The only one with a real gimmick is Jillian, who, unfortunately, is the job queen. With the exception of Jillian and Maryse (who I love) they're all bland, cookie-cutter barbie dolls. They rarely have a storyline that goes beyond "She wants the women's title, so she fights the champion" and unless they're a champion or number one contender, they don't get to do anything at all outside of pointless bikini contests or random backstage appearances until it's their turn to fight for the belt, if they get a chance. Some of them may be good wrestlers (Mickie, nattie neidhart, Gail Kim) but that's all they have going for them.

I'm not saying they all should have some sort of gimmick, but at least give them SOME character depth (or character in general) to give each of them their own flavor because right now, all I see is Generic Diva #1 vs Generic Diva #2.

Smackdown has a better division than RAW. They are also booked better. I dont see what everyone is complaing about. They are doing just fine, but i agree they need more character diversity

i've said this forever the womens division has gone down there are only a hand full of women that are both sexy but can wrestle 1. beth phenix is being pushed down 2. mickie james is being used right 3. melina god shes hot but she is a great wrestler and she deserves the title more then michelle mccool 4. nataly is being used right and the rest are just hot
