As much damage as his real life actions have done to the company in terms of unwanted exposure to the seemier side of the whole business any one of us probably stand a better chance of going into their Hall of Fame than he does. Your last voting option is spot on because that is exactly how the WWE will always feel about him. Chris Benoit, who's that?

Hello??? Murdering his wife and child before killing himself is an awfully big blot on anyone's legacy to ignore. I thought he was great to watch too, but it still wouldn't matter if the man was the best wrestler the company ever had, you've heard the last of him from the WWE.

Chris was a great wrestler, but his horrific final actions will overshadow his extraordinary career and forever he will be known as the wrestler who killed his family and self.

Yeah he was a great guy except for that whole killing his family thing...You've got to be kidding. Even if the WWE could somehow by the wildest stretch of the imagination forget that one little incident he did something to them that was even more unforgivable in their eyes by bringing unwanted attention to the company by being found with a houseful of steroids. Congress is investigating them, the FBI is investigating them and their having to cut loose a lot of their juiced up roster. McMahon was embarrased by running his RAW tribute to Benoit as the facts were coming out about what he had done, when Vince announced on Smackdown that you would no longer hear the name Chris Benoit, he meant it. His legacy died with him....

yes i think he should be in the wwe hall of fame, wwe is wrestling, what he did, had absolutely nothing to do with wrestling at all, why does that affect his career, it affects other things, but cannot over shadow what he has done for the wwe and other companies... he should be recognized for all the good he did through out his life, not the one bad night in his life, a career of greatness should not be overlooked by one mistake he made!!!

agreed and i think people who can overlook all the good he did for 20 years because of and few days of bad stuff should be ashamed and they(mainly mr mcmahon are responsible for killing the legacy of chris benoit which is far worse then ending a life its destroying his whole existance

Sorry, but murdering your wife and son before killing yourself is just one little mistake that is tough for most people to try to overlook. The WWE is above all else a business and if any of you think they're going to risk the the sh*t storm of publicity of trying to ignore that "one bad night in his life" to try and honor Chris Benoit the wrestler you're only kidding yourself. You might as well try and forget he ever lived, the WWE already has and it's their memory that is going to count....
