If all industries globally were like the entertainment industry in Hollywood then the world economy would improve quickly. In the entertainment industry in Hollywood everyone is in a union, and everyone is paid fair, everyone is treated well, and everyone can afford to participate in the global economy.

I saw an interview on television of Jack Welch years ago, he was a famous CEO for GE, etc, and the dude is such a scumbag. He was talking about why he supported communist slavery in China, and about why there needed to be a way of holding the Chinese down and getting the labor out of them without allowing them to rise, and he said that if we treated the Chinese the same way that we treat Americans that the Chinese would win. I think Jack Welch needs to be treated like that, let Jack Welch work as an underpaid and overworked slave with poor human rights and see how he likes it.

The Golden Rule says to treat other people the way that you wish to be treated. So, I guess Jack Welch wants to be slave labor. A lot of Americans who are getting rich off of communist slave labor in China need to be beat down, and they need to be treated the same way that they are treating the Chinese workers.

We need to make sure that people are treated the same way that they treat other people.

It would be hard for a person to film this bad economy to save for history to show what this bad economy looks like, because it is not like the Great Depression when there were people migrating from all over the USA to California, and there were homeless people all over, and there were long soup lines, etc, and we have all seen "The Grapes of Wrath," whereas with the current bad economy we have a record number of people on foodstamps, and on Section 8 Housing, and on SSI and SSDI, and whom are receiving unemployment checks, etc etc etc, we have a record number of people on government aid, so this bad economy looks totally different than the Great Depression.

Just a thought...

There needs to be a way that people who are homeless and hungry can work in order to get food and shelter, and a small check for cigarettes and clothes, or whatever. People can plant trees in our forests, etc, etc, etc.

The worst thing in the world is being homeless and hungry, and with the bad economy there are a lot of people who are homeless and hungry, there needs to be places where they can go work in exchange for food and shelter.

We need to always come from a place of abundance, seriously.

In leadership training they told me to always come from a place of abundance, as opposed to scarcity. We can easily grow enough food to feed everyone on earth if we come from a place of abundance, as opposed to letting them starve as we come from a place of scarcity. And sometimes the way to improve things is to think big, even when times are hard and we are tempted to say that we cannot because of poverty. We can live in a world of abundance, and unlimited opportunity, or we can live in a world of scarcity where it just continues to get worse. And with leaders, say for a company, they want people who will make the company grow and prosper, not people who will keep downsizing it until it does not exist anymore. People want leaders who improve things, not make things worse.

With the bad economy, and with the giant debt of the United States, it would be so easy for everyone to downsize everything out of existence, which would only make things worse, at a time when we need to do the opposite and grow and prosper and improve things instead. A great depression is as much a state of mind as it is a reality, we cannot fall into that state of mind and we must avoid that reality.

We must come from a world of abundance and unlimited opportunity, and grow and prosper, and improve things, we must be creative in good ways and we must think big, and every problem creates an opportunity for people to solve the problems, and where there is room for improvement there is opportunity for people to improve things, etc etc etc.

I read that fewer people are willing to get student loans because they are afraid they will not be able to pay them off, and they are afraid to accrue the debt for an education, and that is totally the wrong way for them to be thinking right now, and at this time the USA needs to have a better educated and better trained population, and there will be plenty of opportunity for good educated people to solve problems and improve things after they receive an education. In my opinion the people of the United States need to enter college at higher numbers, not lower. Things are not going to get better if we have a lesser educated population, that is going in the wrong direction, we need a higher educated population instead. So we need to get them thinking from a place of abundance, so that we can achieve abundance, and a better economy and a better world.

And the whole thing with the debt of the United States could be solved if we come from a place of abundance. Much of the land of the United States is government owned land, we are talking abundance, and that land could be sold to private people, and that alone would pay off much of the government debt. The government can also make money with gas and oil leases at a time when gas and oil are at all time high prices, and drilling for natural gas and oil in the USA would be a good thing for many reasons. And that would help reduce the debt. Also, gold is at an all time high price right now, and there is gold on much of the government owned land, along with other precious metals. And that would help reduce the debt. If we come from a place of abundance then we can reduce the debt easily. Then, we monitor the spending of the government better in the future so that we can pass down surpluses to future generations instead of deficits.

The students of today will help to build a better future and a better world. We must come from a place of abundance.

US shale oil supply shock shifts global power balance

14 May 2013 Last updated at 10:00 ET

A steeper-than-expected rise in US shale oil reserves is about to change the global balance of power between new and existing producers, a report says.

Over the next five years, the US will account for a third of new oil supplies, according to the International Energy Agency (IEA).

The US will change from the world's leading importer of oil to a net exporter.

Demand for oil from Middle-East oil producers is set to slow as a result.

"North America has set off a supply shock that is sending ripples throughout the world," said IEA executive director Maria van der Hoeven.

The surge in US production will reshape the whole industry, according to the IEA, which made the prediction in its closely-watched bi-annual report examining trends in oil supply and demand over the next five years.

The IEA said it expected the US to overtake Russia as the world's biggest gas producer by 2015 and to become "all but self-sufficient" in its energy needs by about 2035.

The rise in US production means the world's reliance on oil from traditional oil producing countries in the Middle East, which make up Opec (the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries), would end soon, according to the report.

Back around the time when George W. Bush won his first term, Turkey's economy almost collapsed, the money in Turkey almost became worthless over night, so to save Turkey the IMF and the World Bank quickly backed Turkey's currency with GOLD, they used GOLD to save Turkey's economy, and it worked. GOLD can be very important. And countries which have gold are blessed, such as the USA, Colombia, Bolivia, and others.

Battle Mountain, Nevada, is the gold capitol of the world, and right now gold is selling at record high prices, so Battle Mountain is getting very wealthy right now. Battle Mountain is extremely small, and they have gold mines, and there are some huge cattle ranches there (I am talking about ranches with over one hundred and twenty thousand head of cattle on one ranch, and some are bigger than that), but outside of that there is not much there, they have a few casinos, and a legal bordello, and a couple of bars, a couple of grocery stores, a few automotive shops, an auto parts store, a Greyhound station (Oh, and one thing also, they have an airport that is large enough to land jumbo jets there), and a few other things, but Battle Mountain totally has the wonderful opportunity to really grow and prosper right now with the high gold prices, other businesses can grow in Battle Mountain, and the people of Battle Mountain can welcome new immigrants to live and work there to help Battle Mountain to grow and prosper, and right now Battle Mountain has so much potential, and the people of Battle Mountain have the amazing opportunity to help to shape the growth of Battle Mountain, and they need to think ahead and they need to plan everything. So, I started a thread on the Topix forum for Battle Mountain in order to give them some ideas.

Here is the link for my thread on the Battle Mountain Topix forum...

The people of our world need to be optimistic, and we need to work hard in good ways, if we wish to save and improve our world economy...

Here is a little about Optimist International...

----------

The Optimist Creed

Promise Yourself

To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.

To talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person you meet.

To make all your friends feel that there is something in them.

To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.

To think only of the best, to work only for the best, and to expect only the best.

To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.

To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.

To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile.

To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others.

To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.

New Musical About Life of Late Roy Rogers Aiming for Broadway; Marshall Brickman Attached

By Andrew Gans
19 Sep 2013

The Roy Rogers Family Entertainment Corporation, Happy Trails, LLC and the Spangler Group will produce a new Broadway musical inspired by the life and music of the late, iconic Roy Rogers.

Previews are scheduled to begin in late 2014 with an official opening in 2015.

Academy, Tony and Olivier Award-winning screenwriter and playwright Marshall Brickman — of Jersey Boys fame — is leading the creative team.

“I’m excited to be able to introduce Rogers to a new generation - and to re-introduce him to his older fans,” said Brickman in a statement.“At the height of his popularity, Roy had millions of fans worldwide and reigned for decades as the embodiment of simple, honest American values. It will be interesting to contrast that ideal with the current environment of ambivalence and moral uncertainty.”

Roy Rogers was one of the most heavily marketed stars of his era. Between 1945 and 1975, the Roy Rogers brand generated an estimated $1 billion in revenue derived from 88 films seen by an estimated 80 million people a year. The top-rated Roy Rogers TV show aired 100 episodes while selling 150 million comic books.

Additional creative team members, casting, theatre and dates will be announced at a later time.

*

Happy Trails, LLC is a new joint venture developed by Larry Spangler (the Spangler Group) with the Roy Rogers Family Entertainment Corporation and The Roy and Dale Evans Rogers Children’s Trust (Roy “Dusty” Rogers Jr., Trustee), to reintroduce the Roy Rogers brand.
