if those rare-earth resources are in china, no other country has any say as to it's control.
america has resources too that they should stop "giving away" to other countries...like jobs, and factories...and with those jobs and factories the technology that american inventors created.
things like iphones, solar technology, etc... we gave away all this technology so that we could have them produced more cheaply overseas?

if these rare metals are primarily of military application and importance by all means do not allow them to export.
