The Chicken Jerky Tenders I recently purchased from two different Wal-Marts are Waggin' Train Brand. Both are made in China, but the 32 oz. bag is ADI Pet, Inc.-Rancho, CA and the 3.5 oz. bag is from ADI Pet, Inc.-Incline Village, NV. Neither appear to be from the companies distributing in Little Rock, AK and my dog hasn't shown any ill effects from eating them.

I wouldn't feed my dogs anything from China. Or Wal-Mart branded, for that matter. "We Sell For Less" comes at a price, after all. If you think dried Chinese chicken is so good, lady, why don't you eat it? It is more likely some chinese family's dried cat you're feeding Fido.

I like the fact that the computers will not allow the cash register to ring up these products. I wish every store had this feature.

Our pet Rosie, a 3 year old Chihuahua was poisoned from Chinese made Bestro's Jerky Chicken Strips #77849 00006 1 We have this contaminated bag. We have three Chihuahuas and one of them died one month ago. She
started with vomiting and dehydration and then we were told she may either have an obstruction or have been poisioned. Since our dogs are inside dogs and we are with them at all times outside we thought it was an obstruction. Finally the doctor said he was almost positive it was some kind of poisoning at Elwood Animal Clinic in Glendora, California. They were going to scope her but before that could happen she died July 21, at VCA in Fountain Valley, California. We gave our dogs Waggin train and Bestro's Jerky Chicken Strips. Our Sweet Rosie (our chihuahua that passed) loved them and and she would eat all the treats we put down for the other dogs too. Up until today we never had any idea what happened but now with Wal Mart pulling this quietly from their selves.(I brought my treats at Wal Mart, Glendora, California) I truly believe that is why she died. We called Wal Mart and are getting a run around. We need help. We are totally heartbroken and will never forget Our Sweet Gypsy Rose! Since Wal Mart had this problem before, why didn't they pull all that Chinese junk off the first time? Our Rosie will still be alive! Is Wal Mart concerned about people and their Pets or Money? You figured it out. Boycott China and Wal Mart Gene and Gerri Richards San Dimas, California Modmuddy@yahoo.com |

I have been feeding my dogs the Waggin'Train Brand Jerky Tenders for a year now. Now the dog that got the most is real sick with failing kidneys. I have taken him to the vet's office a few days before the notice came out about the poisons and I took him to the vet again after hearing about it. My vet took more tests and we can prove that the Waggin Train Brand caused his kidneys to start to fail. Now his life will be short and what time he has left he has to eat special food which we will buy. But I got one of the bags I saved and emailed the email address on the back and the address will not work. I think the company is afraid of being sued. I am trying to find a phone number or address for them. I do want them to pay my vet bills.

I purchased a 32 Oz. bag of the Waggin' Train Brand Chicken Jerkey Tenders distributed by ADI Pet Inc. from Costco last week. Within a couple of hours of my feeding my 8 month old puppy one of these treats, she started throwing up. Severe diarrhea followed shortly thereafter. After approx. 48 hours, she stopped throwing up and after approx. 4 days, the diarrhea has subsided and my puppy is eating again. Costco claims they have had no complaints about this product.
