huh bonuse are paid out quarterly basically start in march then proceed but cmon our store has been the top dog in our market and we meet and exceed whats asked of us while mgmt gets there fair share we see 20 50 dollar bonuses its okay cause what goes up must come down walmart

Because it is based upon Store to Store, it is hard to say what your bonus will be, if any at all.

our store manager is not reliable he is constantly lying to associates about procedures i know this because he made up some bullshit story about something and i looked it up on the wire and what i was asking for was completely different so our store manager is not a reliable source

You guys should all be ashamed of yourselves...bad mouthing a company you work for when it's putting roofs over your heads, food on ur tables and clothes on ur back. I been with walmart for almost 15 years, in which the first 13 years I never received a bonus. Sure, I'm an asst mgr an bonus more than an hourly but the fact of the matter is, the associates u work with get very excited about the extra $10-400 they get on their checks. For all of you complaining, what are you doing to ensure your stores are bonusing? Nothing, cuz ur too busy complaining. There is job security in walmart as long as you show up and do what ur supposed to do. Maybe you should go work for bank of America if it's a set schedule you want, but anywhere u go, YOU HAVE TO EARN YOUR PAY! Grow up kiddies...it's 2011. Go ahead an work for or shop Kmart, low quality disposable merchandise, but what is Kmart doing, nuthin! They aren't growing, expanding or passing out $400 quarterly bonuses...with ur mentalities, u don't deserve to work for a billion $$$ company. Get over it already and move on or move out!

Many Wal-Mart stores are known to lay off or fire some employees to avoid paying out a bonus.
Some stores hire spotters plus the cameras to catch employees doing the slightest thing wrong to use as an excuse.

Managers are always on the hotseat. It's their job or yours.

Is that how u feel? Cuz it's not how I feel. I'm one of those managers who know where I came from. I started from the bottom at one time too. I also was fired from walmart after 13 years, I made very good money an it was right after walmart started capping pay, so yah I could just as easily said walmart fired me cuz I was way above the capped mark an made way too much money as an hourly associate after stepping down from an asst mgr one year prior, but the truth is...I was fired due to my own actions, I'm sorry I don't agree with being fired just because, everybody is responsible for their own actions. If I felt that I was not at fault for my own termination than trust me when I say, I would hav got a lawyer. I'm back with walmart for 2 years now an make way more money than I was making 2 1/2 years ago before I was fired. So do I think walmart fired me because I making too much, no I don't.

We were the top selling store in our market,and we reached supermax level,all of the sudden the managers are being awful quite about our bonus amount,i have heard so many things..anyone know about how much the bonus would be since our store met the above criteria???

Lookin to see not just what the amount is, but when it will show up. It looks like 1st quarter bonus (Nov-Jan earnings) show up on the 2nd check in March. Feb-Apr earnings shows up the first week of June. Thus the Sep-Dec MyShare Bonus is passed out when...

I think in Pinellas Park Florida some thing is not clear causes when the period bonus is close you hear we didn't do good many accidents .....

Yea i was told that the full time assoc would get the full amount n the part timers would get half. well i have been here 8 mths n my share was 23.34 that wasnt even 1/4 of the bonus. then there r other part time assoc that received over 100.00 how do they justify that.

does anyone know if i quit working at walmart will i still get this quaters bonus? we r suppost to get it in december but the months it is actually from i worked all 3 of them so i should still get it even if im not still working for walmart when the bonus is added to our paychecks right?

its actually based off the number of hours you workd during the quater.

Ok, so I worked for Walmart just shy of 1 year. I was 2nd shift ICS Supervisor. Worked my freaking ass off. Very often was left short staffed and with a mess so bad we couldn't get the truck set up to start the unload until a whole hour after we were supposed to. Not because we were working slow but because the 1st shift left us with a mess so bad we literally couldnt get set up. Then when the A.M. above me got pressure from the store manager for the truck times getting longer I was the one who got coached after repeated attempts to resolve the problem with them.

Anyways long story short I got the raw end of the deal there. Any of my guys will tell them that and have. Even with open door'ing the situation the Store manager didnt wan't to overturn the AMs decision. So anyways, this next paycheck they are getting would have been my first full bonus for the 3rd quarter. I worked that whole quarter so therefor should be entititled to the whole bonus seeings I was working full time the whole coarse of that period. I just have a feeling they are going to try to jip me out of it. Does anyone know how that works and if I will still receive the bonus I deserve?

I would like to know the answer bout the bonus too...i just quit walmart november 12th and i know our bonus they r getting ready to get is a good size bonus and i hope walmart doesnt try to screw me out of it. So please let me know if you get it or not and ill do the same!

Yeah, i used to work for Wal-Mart a while back & the store manager was descent she used to give us over $300 in Bbonuses every time even though the store
wasn't making as much sales, but now my
husband works for another Wal-Mart & that store
made over half a million dollars this time, but
nobody is getting a bonus once again only the
store manager ,ofcourse, a big fat one & he always makes up an excuse for why no one is getting bonuses. The most he has given up is a $70 dollar bonus & that's not fair. I think the better business beareu should look into this Wal-Mart's unfair activity & fire those crooked store managers that use the system in a crooked way to their own advantage. Wal-Mart is meant to be an associate's career not a let me take advantage of you next!

It depends on the sales vs shrink each quarter for each individual store. If sales stay high and minimal theift and injury then the bonus could well succeed 1000, but if there is a major injury from a customer or associate then it can be cut dractically. I love how the uniformed stick there nose were it doesnt belong....

Walmart - My only question about the bonus is it given on a yearly basis? Or once every 3 months? Is this bonus based on personal performance or do you simply have to be employed at the certain store?

Myshare is paid out quarterly, about 45 days from the end of the quarter. Your store must have 80% sales and profit to qualify, and you can get up to $550 a quarter. Your management team can tell you your stores amount and the payout date.
