You have a nose like a black person. Where I come from we call them tunnel noses because they look like the entrance to the Midtown Tunnel.

This is also just being plain rude. I haven't met you before... but your behaviour is quite grating on the senses.

I agree with you. There a lot of good people here in Mexico too. But you realize you are getting the hate mongers here from both sides of the border. This is not the way all Americans and Mexicans feel. Even if they feel the borders need to be guarded and the US laws upheld. You can support upholding laws without calling everyone a beaner, or a cracker, or whatever.

I agree there needs to be something done to stop the influx of illegals and drugs. But it not the wish of many Mexican people to be associated with drugs and violence. It is a byproduct of a corrupt government, greed, and under-educated desperate people.

Walk around your neighborhood in the USA. It is nice to not have gates and fences around your front yard and sometimes the back. Nice to not have bars on your windows and doors to keep criminals out.
There are way more bad people in Mexico and it is evidenced by the houses. They are all fortresses. They are designed to keep the criminals and neighbors from stealing your things. I live in a more upscale community and I have razor wire on top of a 14 foot high wall around the sides and back. My front fence has spikes on the top, and there are bars on all the doors and windows. This is everywhere in Mexico.
Look at America. When I grew up there was not much crime. We even left our keys in the car at night. Look at the cities that have the most crime and gangs. They are full of illegals and poor immigrants. Things are changing. Look at the arrest reports in many cities and you can see who these people that are committing the crimes are.
Quit being so full of doom and gloom. Look on the bright side, most liberals live in the big dangerous cities, so they get to reap the rewards of liberalism, such as drive-bys, rapes, and murders and the added benefit of losing another handful of Obama voters every crime.

I think the shooting was justified. I grew up in the country. My best friend is little & petite but she can take your head off with a rock if she wanted to. A thrown rock can kill or injure.

Back a little in time. But I believe the border patrol guy who was pardoned for shooting the mexican which was running from him should never have been pardoned. It involved a car pursuit, the border agent shooting the guy in the back when he run away on foot, & the agent cleaning up the shot shell casings to hide the shooting, & then not reporting it. That was bad wrong. Why did he try to hide it? Was there more to what happened than told? Like maybe ripping off a drug smuggler & things went bad?

But the shooting of the rock thrower was justified. Anybody who grew up in the country knows rocks can be dangerous if you get hit in the head. It was self-defense.

The problem is there is not enough violence even in those areas to make a 48 hours TV show. Cops and many others. They may be uneducated and dumb but they are not wiping each other out at the rate the others are. As an example. Go to the Los Angeles, California most wanted website. I went the two weeks ago and 8 out of 10 were Hispanic. The names of the people they killed were Hispanic. Sad but true.

I have lived a good life and have traveled the world. You need to spend a little time here in Mexico. I really love the country and the people, but it is hard on the senses to see all the violence and much of it directed at Women. Women here are not treated well and mind their place even at parties. When a Woman comes to talk to her husband at a party. They stand outside the door and leave quickly. Live here and see what is going on. You will not want to even go out at night. Too dangerous and now they are killing women just like the men. I guess that would be in line with women's lib organizations. Not to be treated differently.

Your posts are always so interesting, sincere and helpful to those that might be wanting to travel in Mexico. You live over there so one has to take you seriously being that you're speaking from experience. Thank you for being honest, and hope people appreciate reading your posts. Of course there will always be those that respond negatively but who cares? anyway thanks Concerned.

What neighborhoods are you talking about. New Orleans? Atlanta? Charlotte? Nashville? I doubt you have ever been in Dixie. I have been to all these cities and more and it is very much like Philly, only a little smaller and different accents when speaking.
