Walmart is firing all the fulltime employees. They are giving bull reasons for this. People do not have any write ups and are just getting canned. I hope their sales drop so low they close!

. This is true: Walmart no longer is Hiring full-time associates only part-time. In the Process of weeding out all the full-time associates now. Part-time associate Get insurance only on themselves and not on the family.

This is why Wal-dumb supported Obamacare, they wanted to appear to care about their employees, but all along, all they wanted to do is eliminate full-time workers to save their own healthcare costs. Make no mistake, Wal-Dumb cares nothing about the well being of their slaves............sorry, I meant associates.

Only get insurance as PT employee once there a year. They'll fire you prior.

My store isn't hiring Part time associates anymore. We are only hiring temps from here on out.

Yea, Walmart said that I stole two $10 gift cards and said that they had a video but yet they couldn't produce the video. I am not rehireable. I cannot get unemployment either. I got fired in December of 2012. It has been difficult to find another job since then. And also, other associates have been fired for the same reasons, theft and never stole or never even had a write up in their files. I hope that people will starts suing walmart. We all need to ban together and start protesting outside of these stores about the firings. Maybe then, something will be done.

Jobs are a function of supply and demand. If you have skills they want to pay for ...then they will. If not ...then they don't.

Why if it makes good business sense would they spend more when they can spend less. Hiring temps makes good sense. They can be fired at will, no benefits to have to pay for. Sounds like retailers are finding a way to pay fir what they need, as opposed to what low skilled workers would like to extract from the system. It sucks if you are on the low skill worker receiving end but that can be fixed....by improving the skills you bring to the table.

My son started at Walmart Nov 27 2012 as a cart pusher and was layed off mid Jan 2013, He was hired as temp. They liked him and brought him back in Feb 2013 before 30 days and hired part time. He worked 32 to 38 hours a week and in Dec the 28th2013 he was fired cause some said he took a 26 min break on Dec 16th. No one said anything to him on the 16th or anything till the 28th. Was told in Oct during his Evo he was getting a raise Nov 27th and never got it.
When he asked about it a csm said he was not getting it due to a coaching. He never had a coaching or any wriite ups. He cant get his unemployment due to walmart and he didnt steal 16 mins of time. he was on a 15 min break. This was his first job out of school and this is a screwed up record on him for employment. He got bitched at on a 8 hour shift cause a csm told him not to take a lunch but he did, wanted him to work threw it cause there was not enough help that day in the parking lot.
That is a law you must take lunch on a 8 hour shift. Thinking about getting him a lawyer on this. He work over a yr there and no raise. Screw Walmart!

I worked for Wal-Mart in Starke, Florida for six years. I never had a write up and my evals were excellent. I was fired on April 3, 2014, for missing time to take care of a Military Disability. I was also full time.

HOPE THEIR SALES GOES TO NOTHING. THEY HAVE RUINED SMALL HOMETOWN SALES AND ALSO LIVES OF PEOPLE THAT HAS WORKED FOR THEM OVER 15 YEARS FULL TIME. THEN WHEN THEY HAVE ILLNESS THEY FIRE THEM AND DO NOT PAY THE SICK PAY WHEN TOLD TO WITH A DR EXCUSE THAT THE EMPLOYEES DESERVE.. HOPE THEY REAP WHAT THEY SOW. HOPE SOME OF THE SO CALLED FEMALE MANAGEMENT MARIE GETS WHAT SHE DESERVES LIKE A BAD HEALTH PROBLEM.
