This landfill should be shut down. It's a disaster waiting to happen - right on a wetland where the entire marsh and bay could be affected

And where would all the daily deposits of our garbage and trash go if the Redwood Landfill were shut down?
The County Board of Supervisors has ignored the need to identify and qualify another site for decades.
While it's unlikely that a disaster of the magnitude to affect the entire marsh and bay would occur, the longterm need for another site is real.
County government definitely needs to get on the ball.
