This guy carrys a gun,? Left his card? What an ego.

If he felt threatened then why would he block the TEEN from exiting the store and not allow him to leave so that the threat would have been gone? If he didn't block his way through the exit the teen would've exited the store. No threat present, no fear!!!!
Why didn't the EX-commissioner call the Police if he felt threatened? I guess if the Ex-commissioner wins his job back he won't mind if Police Officers pull their guns on EVERYONE?
All those witnesses and not one them reports that the young teen victim used the hateful "N" word.
EX-commissioner = LIAR, LIAR, LIAR
Big risk to take EX-Commissioner. Lose in trial your looking at prison time. If you took a plea deal you'd probably get probation, but have a felony conviction.
Oh and I'm sure the Residents of Miramar will have to foot your attorneys bills again, if you win. Residents should be OUTRAGED they had to foot the bill in the DUI case. Does everyone get reimbursed by the City if they're found not guilty??????????

I guess the "Checkout Line Gang" was after Salesman. You have to be very careful of that gang, as they are well know in law enforcement circles for grabbing whatever is available -- gum, candy, bread, even magazines -- and whacking you with it. Thank goodness we have public officials like Salesman to protect us from such gangs. What a brave man he is!

Salesman = Guilty.

When are you going to stop referring to this guy as the "Fitzroy Salesman" and tell us what his name is?? This only gives all the salesmen at Fitzroy a bad name and I know that the last time I was into a Fitzroy showroom, I was treated cordially and with respect and none of the salesmen pulled a gun on me.

If the threat was legitimate, and it happened as described in the story, then ALL charges should be dropped. STAND YOUR GROUND!!!!!!
Are you a terrorist with that name mohamad. You are not too bright.

Imagine if Salesman had just gone through the line with his mouth shut, paid for his groceries and left.
Instead, he creates a disruption in the store,(neither he or the 18 year old kid were "underdogs" for having to wait in line), wanting to speak with the manager, then pulls a gun when the kid responds to the absurdity of this supposed "professional's" behavior.
The telling sign was how fat head commissioner left his business card with the cashier.
What a self important - and dangerous- jerk!

Fitzroy Salesman is GUILTY as charged. He will use all kind of EXCUSES to get off the charge just like OJ Simpson. By the way, you are no longer residing in Jamaica to do that type of foolishness in pulling out a gun while in public. Salesman is a MORON.

If he was sooo scared, why didn't he ask the store to call the police. I am sure the manager would have let him sit in the office while he waited.

Next year I hope he gets all his Thanksgiving shopping done early. If you wait until the last minutes...guess what you get to wait in line like everyone else who forgot to get something.

I don't think it would take the cashier very long to ring up a couple of sodas for the young man. Maybe Mr. Salesman should learn a little something called patience?

Lets just make sure that the DA wont downgrade the charges to a lesser charge and he walks/.I wish he would have puled a gun on me;.I am tired of the small time politicians thinking they are above us.

Let's see, Fitzroy says there were no express lanes open and he had asked the manager to open one, then goes on to say that he was leaving his card with the cashier for the manager because the manager was not there.....hmmmmmm..... which is it, was he there or not?

The kid says that Fitzroy got mad at him because he refused to use the express lane...... hmmmmm.... didn't Fitzroy say there were no open express lanes???

If he felt threatened, why didn't he just reach in his pocket and pull out his cell phone and call the police? Or why didn't he simply summons the security guard at the door (that store has a guard at the door all the time.)
