You can ask the same question of Safeway.
The Safeway on Miller Ave. in in Mill Valley, but the Slaveway on the other side of the freeway is not in Mill Valley, it is in unincorporated Marin known as Strawberry, near the In-N-Out burger, definitely not Mill Valley at all.

<quoted text>I agree about M.V. market, and I also like to shop at Whole Foods, even though they are a new age, low wage, anti union corporation. It do shop at Delano's on the way home from work sometimes, but I never go out of my way to shop there. They have a limited selection of organic foods, quit selling most vitamins , and their prices are high.

OK pullipacker - what are their wages? And what are their benefits? Surely if you know their wages, you also know their benefit package.

And what are the comparative wages of like businesses to support your claim.

You won't get an honest answer from Pulipaca - he posts this liberal crap and then hides. Or he'll start a personal attack on you.

I'm sure it will be a great store as all Whole Foods are but how will the traffic get in and out of there? It's difficult NOW and there's nothing there. I don't think anyone can imagine what the plethora of Volvo and Prius drivers will add to the already existing logjam most times of day on that stretch of East Blithedale. It will be impossible to get out of that lot in either direction and nobody is addressing that... LMAO just thinking about it.

Union grocer pays $21.78, time and one third on Sunday. Paid birthday, paid vacation plus floating days. WF pays $18.00 no extra Sunday pay. No extra days pay. Seniority means something with the union job not so with WF. I know because I work for a union grocer and work with recent new hires from WF. WF is nothing more but clever, timely marketing hype.

Hey folks read the article today about Trader Joes tainted beef hamburger that they buy for their stores. Think about that the next time you buy hamburger. Whole Foods has the fresh'd beef and fish available. Everything else pricey yes, but it's better to be safe than sorry!

PS Construction started TODAY!!!!!!!!!!

Why no discussion of what we all live on-money. I receive roughly the same coverage. However my dependents are covered without additional charges for medical coverage. Wouldn't it be nice if the WF store was opened and nobody came.

Marin Native, you take the cake for posting under more screen names than anyone else on these forums, and you have unsuccessfully tried to impersonate me several times. I like your screen name of Bobbin Sacamano the most. What gives you away is you never have anything to post except to put Pulipaca down, and you have repeated yourself hundreds of times using the same exact words under different screen names. And then you think that anyone who disagrees with you is all one person. You are as dumb as dirt. By the way, what happened to OAD ? Has he been flamed off the board like you have ? The only difference is OAD is not a masochist like you are, you keep coming back for more.

Sorry Puli, but there seem to be plenty others who don't hesitate to call you on you on your factually challenged posts. I post under one name only. I don't have AOL so I can't take credit for "No Stimulus".

I would take credit for the Pulipaca Impersonations as they are very clever, but not my work.

BTW, The name posters you refer is "Bob Sacamano", not "Bobbin". Sacamano is a Seinfeld character. He was Kramer's best friend but never actually appeared on the show. Once again you illustrate your poor reading skills. I am not Bob (or Bobbin) but I will gladly take credit if it was a good post.

"Old as Dirt" posted tonight on the 142 Throckmorton Theatre thread.

Happy to be of service.
