2 U.S. firms won't use tar sands oil
Canadaa s controversial tar sands industry took its first retail blow Wednesday as two Fortune 500 companies announced plans to eliminate the high-carbon Alberta fuel from its supply chain.

While I understand what these companies think they are doing I have to laugh. Have they forgotten that the people that work in that industry are the same people that have made them the fortune 500 companies that they are? I can only assume that they won't want to take cash from any customers that are employed by the tar sands and will be checking who employs their customers as they come thru their tills. I know that I will not be gracing their doorsteps anymore. Funny how they didn't mind getting rich off of the tar sands but now that they are FORTUNE FIVE HUNDRED COMPANIES I guess they can pick and choose who buys from them. Good Luck with that!
