Remember! If you buy the Whole Foods 365 brand, be sure to read the label. Almost all of it (frozen food, cans, etc.) is from China. So it may be "faux organic" since the air is so polluted not to mention the water. And remember: Quality Assurance International (QAI) has no physical presence in China! They outsource the certification process with zero employees on the ground. So be sure to tell Whole Foods when you go there that you want Organic food that is truly organic.

They had the right idea at the entirely wrong time. They planned an "upscale" store but unfortunately by the time it opened the recession hit. So the high prices don't go over very well with the community. Very sad that they probably won't last through the year once China Foods opens.

Paradise is terrible. High prices, and very low quality of produce. Would rather shop Safeway than Paradise. Excited for WHole Foods. Finally a good place to buy seafood in Novato.

Whole Foods is a grocery store for snobs run by snobs. With a CEO who makes statements that people don't have a right to housing, food or health care makes me never want to set food in a Whole Foods again. BTW Trader Joes and Safeway can sell organic food for about half the price they do. Why would you shop there anyway?

Stop talking about your sister's privates ok?

Make sure to have some melamine in your W.F. protein powder, some drywall in your W.F. calcium supplements, Some lead and cadmium in your juice and best of all, lots of nightsoil and PCBS in your Chinese vegetables.
Old folks are expendible.
Kind of reminds me of the British Health Service report on smoking. It lamented one of the ill effects of high cigarette taxes would be that seniors would live longer and place a higher lifetime burden on the Health Service.

The new Whole Foods opening up down the road is going to sell stuff at a loss to try and drive Mill valley Market out of business. Don't fall for it. Support your local family owned market.
I could not agree with you more Hal. We have got to support our local merchants before we lose our right to choose. Then all we'll have access to is produce from Mexico and China.

how can you tell from a boat?
The FRA said it was signal and electrical issues not structural?
The main rotor gear has not been greased in ages. Then secondly, there are a series of "posts" sticking up higher than the track at each end.

the bridges were used last fall. So the grease is not much of an issue. The post may have been put up when the bridge signals failed the federal inspection.

Yea, I bought some fresh wild caught salmon at Whole Foods in Mill Valley last week, it was $29.95 per lb. If they are offering the same product in Novato Whole Foods, what are they charging for it ? BTW the salmon I bought was super good, even my cat liked it.

Regarding parking enforcement. Can't the Novato City Police just issue warning / reminder tickets for the first day or so instead of coming off so strong armed?
Just a thought.
Here are the FACTS regarding the PARKING PROBLEMS INCURRED OVER THE LAST 2 WEEKS....I have a shop directly behind the new Whole Foods--with limited street parking. Warnings were giving to the employees that failed to read the "timed" slots. We are thrilled to have WFs as a neighbor, but unfortunately consideration for other stores was overlooked.
It is very interesting that "employee parking"for 150 cars was never discussed with the City when this project was being approved???
