This store will do well and draw from Tiburon and Corte Madera/Larkspur and even Sausalito. Where as the new Novato store is a ghost town. It was supposed to single handedly re-vitalize Downtown Novato. An unfair assignment for sure. I think Novato people are Grocery Outlet types.

"featuring locally grown products'----

"Cut Down Your Food's Commute" and "Bring Some Local Flavor Home for Dinner"

Mexico and Bakersfield are "local"???

"Local flavor for dinner...Yeah like that 365 house brand "Organic spinach and the other frozen greens that are A PRODUCT OF CHINA?

Whole Fools is a fraud. It is controlled by a union busting jerk that is against helath care for not only his workers but all Americans.

I'll patronize Mill Valley Market and the Good Earth in Fairfax thank you. They sell high quality organic produce from Sonoma and West Marin...NOW THAT'S LOCAL.

We're very pleased to welcome another Whole Foods to Southern Marin. The other grocery stores need a wake-up call. We'll be there Wednesday to celebrate the Grand Opening.

"We're aware, we're discriminating and we're knowledgeable about what we buy here." It also doesn't hurt to be efflluent enough (no pun intended) to be able to spend $3.00 for a head of lettuce, and two bucks for an avocado that is supposedly pesticide free, picked by folks that are certified not to be children and belong to a union in Gutammala. Don't forget to vote Lynn tomorrow.

That's two whole food stores to many. Not surprised about Novato situation. That's a costco town.

Sorry folks, people in Novato are hardworking business working class people and they are smart not to buy extremely costly food. And for those idiots that they think they are buying the 365 organic brand, just fyi all 365 products are imported from China.

Be smart and boycott all whole foods, I call it whole paycheck.

Gee Mr. From Novato...YOU call it whole paycheck? Your originality is astounding. I've only heard that expression from about 2,000 people, as have you. As far as their 365 products from China, I think you've been smoking too much opium. Now scurry off and poison yourself with your pesticide-laden food while we adults shop at Whole Foods.

Blown out of portion. The few frozen products raised in China are done so organically and held to a higher standard than organics grown here. People can go directly to WF website and read or call Corporate.

I don't buy frozen. We look for local organic and range free products. We look for companies who use sound practices.

If you don't like WF no one is forcing you to buy there. IMO they provide better products than Trader Joe's who uses high corn syrup in most of their products. TJ is willing to sell L-trytophan which was toxic and killed people. WF will NOT sell LT even though your CDC says everyone who suffered from the product is now well. LIE!!!

MV Girl it was WF MV on Miller opened around 1991.

The MIller Store employees have been the best!

Food in Marin County is expensive, PERIOD!!!

If you don't buy a lot of prepared foods and shop WF sales, it cost you the same as the lousy food stores you find around town. Also how much dam food do you eat??? lol

Get your facts straight before you start insulting people you Moron. The 365 "organic" brand, from CHINA is old news. Look it up. Better yet, go to your local Whole Foods and read the back of the packages - or even better - check out this doc that was obtained by a local news station http://www.acc-tv.com/images/wjla/news/iteamw...
