I think the Wendys marketing people are nuts. They remove from the menu an excellent Manderin Chicken salad and replace it with some crappy cran-apple salad. I tried one and it is very low quality. Applebees has a great salad along that line but if Dave is looking down on this latest fiasco, he's doing some serious frowning. Bring back the former salads and get rid of this other cr----! Many of us don't like these Tex-Mex spicy flavors.

I love the new salads! The apple pecan chicken is probably my favorite, though I just love the new lemon pepper dressing on the caesar salad. I do wish they had kept the mandarin chicken salad though. The baja is very similar to the old taco salad, just has better dressing now, and pico de gallo/guacamole on it (a plus) I had been wanting Wendy's to offer a mid-size salad too...always thought the old saldas were too big. I prefer to have something else w/ my salad so the new size still leaves room for a side item. I think this was a job well done by Wendy's.:)

The Apple Pecan Chicken salad sounded good, but after my first try I'm not impressed. The dressing and cranberries are overpoweringly sweet. The apples were tasty but a few slices of fresh apple do not make a $6 salad worthwhile. The chicken and greens are the same as before. I definitely prefer the old mandarin chicken salad, which was my go-to healthy-ish fast food option. I'll have to try the Caesar, as it looks like it could be decent. I've never been a fan of Cobb salads and their new taco salad looks just as unappetizing as the old one. It looks like a crappy salad with a $0.99 bowl of chili dumped on top, frankly.

I'm a bit confused by the second reviewer praising these as 'mid-size' salads. At least at my local Wendy's, it was the same size salad in the same size container, and it costs $1 more. If it *were* smaller despite being less satisfying and more expensive than the old version, I would have been even more unhappy with my meal.

Did you take the remnants of your salad to the counter and ask for a refund or did you just sit there and fume? The big hole under your nose can be used to make your unhappiness known.

Why can't these salads come without a big hunk of chicken flesh? That should help cut cholesterol and price at the same time.

These just arrived to my local Wendy's. I tried the new BLT Cobb and it was awesome. I was alarmed at the price though ($6.99) but I think it was a typo since the receipt was $5.99 (or maybe it's an introductory price? at $6.99 it's just too expensive)

I don't care how many 'salads' they introduce, I still wouldn't feed ANY of their toxic crap to anyone, and anyone who eats it is a fool.

Wake up, people, these corporate,'fast food' joints don't give a damn about you.

Miss the mandarin chicken salad. Used to have one at least 3 times a week. Just tried the apple pecan and was not impressed. Too much goat cheese or whatever that stuff was. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

I just tried the new Baja and my husband had the Caesar - AWFUL! The salads that Wendy's had were very good and have now been replaced by overpriced and bad tasting salad's. No more business from me!

I want the Mandarin Chicken salad back!!! Why fix it if it's not broken?? I just drove all the way to Wendy's only because I was really hungry for Mandarin Chicken salad, only to be told they were not available. Please bring it back!!

I agree with everyone that said these salads are GROSS! The BLT salad was the best, and I really liked the dijon dressing, but now I can't get either. And blue cheese does taste like vomit! And they are too expensive. I won't be getting any more wendy's salads until they bring back the good ones and get rid of the garbage they are selling now.

I agree with most of the comments others left.

I just went to Wendy's craving a mandarin chicken salad and realized that they completely replaced all of their salads. I studied the pictures in the drive-thru and ended up choosing the apple pecan chicken salad.

Ewghh, after I picked all of the disgusting cheese off, I could still taste it and am very disappointed even now! Ended up paying just about the same price for half of what it used to be!

Wendy's!! What have you done?!!
