World Savings to Wachovia adjustable rates and foreclosures hit America. The U.S. mortgage market in bankruptcy ruin. The LTV and debt to income ratio and employment are all reversed and you WACHOVIA will exit back from where you came you only boutht into trouble when the smart Sandlers sold to you. You have a bad reputation and are not the number 1 in customer satisfaction that was World Savings and no more!!!!!

The only reason as to why we are where are is due to the their inability to negotiate with their customers. I am being foreclosed and tried time and time again to pay them and they would not take my partial payments. I called and called then because they sent a letter asking us to call if we needed help and all we got is some rude representative giving us nothing but sarcasam and bitchinessss.FUCK WACHOVIA

I agree with Jenn! Wachovia steals homes with equity in them while promising loan modifications and then withdraws on the last day of default. They do not respond to letters requesting the status in order to make the borrower believe that the modification is still intact while manipulating the foreclosure process. Hmmm...exactly as I predicted. Where'd you go Wachovia? I miss you so....

Wachovia promise to help us when World Savings sold to them, we even wrote hardships letters stating our situation. They sent letters stating they were willing to help. but when it came down they havent done anything to help. We was trick with an ARMS rate and now were stuck like chuck. I hope this stimulus plan will help us save our home

I agree with all who have posted here about how bad Wachovia is. They are the worst of all lenders in not wanting to help out their customers. They have nothing but false advertisements as on many websites and on their very own Wachovia websites it states to contact them if customers are needing assistance or in a hardship regarding their mortgage payments. But, when you call Wachovia, you end up speaking to different representatives and you end up having to repeat your situation over and over again. Wachovia representatives are unprofessional because they are rude, sarcastic, and very insensitive. They tell you different things and some have also openly lied about what they tell you. They have said that they do not accept partial payments, yet they advertise they will help you and now take partial payments, but on the phone they say "NO". In addition, they state they cannot give loan modifications or that we do not qualify and yet according to President Obama's Affordability and Stability Act, it shows that customers do meet the criteria for these loan modifications. Still, we are told by Wachovia that we do not. We requested a loan modifcation and we were denied but our denial letter did not even give us a reason as to the denial. WHAT A SHAME!!! But, most of all SHAME ON WACHOVIA for being so rude to their customers, taking the bailout money and yet, they still do not help out their customers who want to sustain their homeownership.

I cant agree more with all the other posts. We have tried for 10 months to work something out with Wachovia. We requested a loan mod, we agreed to keep the principal that we owed but asked for help lowering our monthly payment and getting us out of this HORRIBLE pick a payment loan. WE asked to stretch the loan out for 40 yrs, and lower our interest rate to lower our payment.........DENIED So, it looks like we are leaving our home. Has anyone had any experience with how long it will take them to get us out? how much time are we looking at? Best of luck to all Wachovia clients

I just got off the phone with Wachovia - Have a 500k pick a plan at 6.75%- Decided to not pay mortgage for 1 month - 30 days past due intentionally (scary but felt it was the right time)- Called and they said because I was 30 days past due I qualified for the modification. Answered alot of questions and faxed all the paper work to them - Told to call back on Tuesday and see where they are - Should have a packet within 2 weeks. In the meantime I will not pay anything. She asked when i wanted to start paying - Said Oct 1,- she offered a 20% reduction in prinicipal - a 40 year - 10 year only pay interest - regular principal and interest payments after 10 years and a reduction of interest rates to anywhere between 2%-4% depending on my paperwork and after a year if payments were received monthly on time a $500 redeemeable VISA card. She did state that the only thing bad about it was that my credit numbers would decrease and not be too good - What does she think the alternative is? Just happy to see what they have to offer. It was too easy. Will let you know how it turned out. The number we called was 888-565-1422. good Luck

I have NEVER experienced a bank WORSE than Wachovia until Wells Fargo aquired them. Everything about this bank is fraudulant, unethical & they damn right deserve to have a lawsuit brough against them! I switched banks and my new banks said that people are coming in DROVES from Wachovia/Wells Fargo because of the fraudulant bullshit these banks are pulling on their customers. FUCK YOU Wachovia! We trusted you, but you authoritives should be in JAIL - and the class action laswsuit just might put you there!!!!!!!!! Thieves!!!!!!!!!!

Oh - yes.... just read some other posts....extremely rude customer service on ALL levels.....fraudulant bank that does anything unethical that they can. I am finding everyone out there that has had such experiences and they will be brough to justice!!!!!! FUCK WACHOVIA AND THEIR LAME WELLS FARGO RESCUERS WHO HAVE MADE THIER BULLSHIT WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY YYYYY WORSE THAN IT EVER WAS.
