Umm yes you should. Not showing up for work is considered job abandonment which is equated with quitting.

I was being ironical. Or just plain facetious.

I still cant believe that NOBODY has any real information in terms of this MGT elimination being A) attrition over time. or B) Next week im forced to make a decision. DM's must really have the STR MGR's by the balls on this secrecy.

By law, would it be a job abandonment if all of us were to go on strike. Can Walgreens terminate our unemployment?

We are getting eliminated, attrition is not moving quick enough. The WAG geniuses lost express scipts and medco will be lost this month. These cuts to mgts has to come fast. There in fear of loosing their job,The Dm does have STR MGR's by the balls. They have alot to loose,us on the other,we can got get the same or about the same pay and cheaper but better benefits somewhere esl.No one has me by the balls.Yes my trumpet is polished and will soon blow. And yea Wasson you can blow me too!!

No we go on strikeWere not in a Union,if we were this wouldn't be happening. Why do you think they dog unions on the ppl. They don't want a union so they can treat workers how ever they want to.Even if you are a union worker a strike has to be santioned by the union. You can't just go on strick.

Yes we do. It depends on your district. If your district is over staffed, some of those people are screwed.

Just realize were on a sinking ship.Get off while you can. After the mgt's are eliminated the store managers are next. The 2,or 3 top senior managers in your district thats costing WAG the most money will go,the bottom 2,3 store managers not performing, sales not up,suggestive sales not up,red zone to low, store conditions ect.will go.the CL(clown leader)will run those 5 stores.

We can do what unions and others do when strikes are illegal. Ever heard of WORK-TO-RULE?

You are all wrong if they fire u, they will appeal any unemployment claim u make, u might get awarded but u will have to pay it back, they will be thorough with the writeups and witch hunt

AS A MGT WE ARE DONE. WE ARE STL'S OR WHATEVER THE NAME IT IS. RIGHT NOW THEY TRYING TO DETERMINED OUR PAY RATES. MY STORE MANAGER TOLD ME THAT THE STORE MANAGERS ALREADY HAD THERE BONUSES CUT BIG TIME. AND MORE LIKELY IF U ARE A OLDER MANAGER U PROBABLY MIGHT BE THE FIRST TO GO. SECONDLY I HAVE NO CLUE ABOUT WHAT THEY DOING WITH EXA'S.
I PERSONALLY FEEL INSTEAD OF CUTTING MGT'S PAY REDUCE OUR HOURS TO 34 OR 35 HOURS A WEEK. THAT WOULD SAVE U MONEY ACROSS THE BOARD.

This is not towards all assistant managers and exa's,there are still some good ones but it's about time!! These managers and exa's are getting over paid to do what? Absolutely nothing. They want the title but don't want to play the role.when I first started with the company managers did the list that the store managers left for them to do, these days they want to take the list and spread it out to the staff , while they do what?? Nothing. So yes I absolutely agree with the suppose to be new changes! Go for it!! Re evaluate them for there positions asap!! Today!!!
