you are so uninformed the return last year was $1. Walgreens has been giving less the past 2 years. Don't be ignorant

Go log in to your profit sharing website. READ the headline there.

"In late February 2012, Walgreen made company contributions for the 2011 plan year......The company gave $2.96 for every $1 team members contributed to the Plan, up to the first 2 percent of before-tax eligible contributions."

Anonymous, you're gettin scammed man! Whatever you're signed up for is not the company profit sharing. You sure you didn't reply to one of those emails from Nigeria again?

Walgreens didn't just miss the mark by one penny- THEY MISSED IT BY FOUR PENNIES! Don't you dare try suggesting to Anonymous that Walgreens gave even close to $3! With 4 pennies, he could have bought....errr....well...he couldn't have bought anything- BUT YOU GET THE POINT!

When the figures come in a couple weeks we will see if we get $3 or closer to $1. I hope I'm wrong but Walgreens has been cutting employees salaries so profit sharing might not be safe.

Plus if I remember Walgreens stated last year it would be closer to $1. So what I'm I missing?

Not claiming to be an expert, but since the matching requires 4% contribution instead if 2%. Previously WAG paid $2 guaranteed plus more based on profit approximately $1. So now matching will be dollar for dollar match and approximately 50 cents/ dollar based on profit. We should get a similar total payout but it will be based on different level of employee contribution. I hope you all get your full match

Does profit sharing offer any gold funds?

They said the guaranteed match would be $1. But since you can double the amount of the matching contribution, the total $ of company match will likely be the same.

It was 2.96 a lot better then most companies...Go find somewhere else to work if you think u can find better....if you stop complaining maybe you can retain some of your customers

I thought it was a one to one match now with a minimum 4% contribution. Any money above 4% is not matched.
