The cross-pay would have been comparable to what MGT's make,maybe a silly idea...but it sounded good for a minute :) At least that way i'd have a clear-cut goal from District,and not be talking about $4/hr paycuts.
Per my SM and CL SFLs will be required to assist and help in pharmacy anytime the need arrises and will be trained for all aspects of pharmacy that is deemed needed by the company. As an SFL you will be required to work in all departments and be able to cover any need when areas recieve a rush. This means when RX is busy the SFL will be back there to be an additional employee for RX and when the RX is slow then the SFL will be doing all the task oriented labor and needs. More work, "Same for some", Less pay, still held accountable, lacking any athority though, and still as always suppose to smile and be happy about it.

The pay decrease is effective now! I've seen managers fired and let go because They refused the title or paycut.
They created this sfl crap which isn't really a manager They force management responsibility on you with little pay as possible I. Applied for sfl. HOW NEIVE!! They gave it to a younger less qualified ass kisser because They only would have to give her 11.50 an hour, and as a sba I already make 12.50 so I would've taken more work for less pay... Or no increase in current pay... My position caps at 12.75 NOW WTF THEY ARE BASICALLY TRYING TO FORCE ME INTO THE SFL of course to pay me and whomever takes my current spot less. Anyone in Chicago may wanna look at Follett. If you don't mind moving in 4 to 9 months it is a great job. It is a very good industry. I work a 9:15 to 6:15 schedule. Only 3 Saturdays a year, and work none of the big Holidays (I may have to work New Years day). Starting pay is 32k to 34k. This is only through training. Pay is much higher than a EXA when you get places a course materials manager or a Store Manager. They start classes about every 6 months.

Walgreens is disturbing the lively Hood of it's employees while increasing the bulk in their own pocket.. a 4$ a hour paycut!!??!!

This means the difference in condo or curb for many people, it's a slap in the face for loyal employees with longevity
Basically your telling us We aren't worth a damn thing... They have gone on this rash of fireings to do away with the seasoned veterans of the company, to make room for eager newbies who will take any pay you give them,,,

Smart Walgreens for Not sponsoring, nor allowing a union!! You knew without one your could bend us all over and rape our lives and Call us worthless with no chance of backlash whatsoever

Can open these lavish two and three store flagship store in howty towty areas
but cut insurance, impliment pay caps, phase out positions, cut hours, and increase workloads... All while instructing us to be happy and healthy??? And want us to smile at the customer and say thank you and be Well???

You have to hurt the pocketbook to get them to notice that everyone knows what is going on. I"ve posted on here before how they are getting rid of the long time employees so they can replace them with the lower paid employee. The complaints about customer service has already started. Do not be silent about it. Let family and friends know how you are being treated. Our families no longer shop there and we are not being silent. Once they were a great company to work for, THEY ARE NO LONGER. You don't need a union to spread the word. You don't need a union to convince people to shop elsewhere. You just need to talk, you need to let everyone know your pay was cut by $4 per hour.

Sbawag, I didn't understand you after your first paragraph. As for the rest of you, a tech is not good job security, tech caps are 14/hr, sr tech is capped at 16/hr. most non-24 hr stores are going to 4 techs, 24 hr stores are gonna have 6. We are all screwed. In the ass. With no lube.

That's ok since getting the stl cut to sfl good old daytona beach gave me 11.97 hr be greatfull for 14.50 we are doing same work without equallity in pay.!!!!

Our new hire pharmacists are paid $3-4/hr less than existing pharmacists. We have heard they are gonna cap the pay for pharmacists and we've also heard that the pay will drop $3-4/hr to match the new hire rate. Who knows, but pharmacists are no longer in demand so the pay has to flatten or decrease.

Was call offs really irritating you the most because you mentioned it twice or was that a typo?
