Prep math test was out for a few months now. I had less than 24 hours notice myself.

I have to assume (yes, I know about that word), that you are just a troll. The website with the math prep has been on storenet since 2012. I can find a post here from December telling everyone where it is, and I know when I saw that post that I had already seen the test. Either that, or you did absolutely no research in to what you needed to do to keep your job. It was not hidden. It's been in the info forever and a day. Do not try to blame anyone but yourself.

2 days is twice as much time as I spent preparing for it... and I was fully aware of it since 2012. Memorizing the formula for percentage calculations is all there is to it, and can be done in a single session of practice problems if you aren't already familiar with it. Everything else on the test is basic math/common sense and shouldn't take any prep or refreshing at all, as it should be part of your daily MGT operations anyway. Let alone the fact that the majority of it is barely middle-school level.

Well, let's play devil's advocate and assume their SM never told them when the due date was since it wasn't sent down to everyone to see.

I really don't know why they didn't make it public that the math test and IRR had to be done by March 15.

Maybe some districts handled this improperly, but each candidate was supposed to be contacted individually to set up an appointment the week of the test, usually a full week in advance. There was also a compass update that announced it. It was visible to MGT's and specified the date range of the IRR and Math Assessment, and I believe it also went on to give details about what to do if you were a selected store to proctor the test for some of the candidates.

Sorry but you're incorrect on this one - it wasn't visible to MGTs, it was visible to SMs. You must have accidentally been logged in under yours when you saw it or they pulled it up for you.

I tried searching for it after my SM let me know it had come down just to read what it said and it's unsearchable as an MGT - you have to be logged in as a SM into compass.

Compass maybe but everything else you could as an mgt look at it. I did it plenty of times.

Then this must also vary from place to place. I viewed it first thing in the morning when I logged in after opening. My SM closed that day and wasn't in until later, so there's no way I was logged in as anyone else but myself. I actually gave her the printout to read later that day when she came in, as I had already marked it complete by that time.
