I am a loyal Walgreens employee for 18 years and had carpal tunnel surgery on both of my hands, Due to all the constant warehouse work, stock, resets, reports, pric e changes, i had severe nerve damage and now cannot lift over 10 lbs,not suppose to push or pull but good ole Walgreens claims that they are not at fault and refuse to pay me Comp. Gee if i have done this work for 18 years where did i get nerve damage from? I need to know if anyone else has any problems with walgreens paying for their injuries.

In reference to this injury 2 Walgreens employee were involved. The injure occurred in the stockroom.
one employee is reaching for a merchandise located in the top flat, using the latter, this employee with the merchandise on hands. Lost balance falling backwards, Employee number 2 was able to reach in the air this coworker, preventing the employee to get hurt but in process
The 2 employee suffer a severe injured in the process. Also Sedgwick department was notified, Injured report was made.
Employee number 2 went to the ER, medical test, MRI, X-rays , were done, an emergency surgery was performed.
This employee remain in the hospital for 2 weeks. Do to the severity of her or his injuries,
Employee was discharged from the hospital, Doctors also explain to the employee that this type of surgery, the recovery time can take up to 4 to 6 months in order to heal properly.
Employee # 2 was always in direct communication with the store manager,
As you know Sedgwick is a 3 party adjusters that Walgreens use to handle this type of injure cases.
After the hospital discharge the employee, He went to a Walgreens pharmacy to refill his medication,
Walgreens pharmacy advised the employee that Sedgwick.( Walgreens) is denied the claim, they can fill the prescription but the employee is responsible for the payment
Walgreens use Sedgwick the 3 party adjusters to handle the Employee disability benefits and the employees workers comp claim.
The employee disability benefits was approved by Sedgwick and the same time Sedgwick denied to the employee their medical treatment ( workers comp. claim ). Walgreens ( The employer ) is not supporting this employee turning the back of him. This Walgreens employee urgently is in need of his medication, in order to get the propel heal and recovery , this employee is require by his doctors to start physical therapy, But Walgreens is choosing to look the other way and turn the back of him.
This is how Walgreens company teaches to their employees to live health and happy?????
Remember 2 Walgreens employees were involved.
Emergency surgery was performed him.
Walgreens works in the medical field, helping customers and , providing great services to them, what about us Walgreens internal customers ( Employees) So we don't deserved the same treatment?
This employee is been working for Walgreens for 10 plus years.
Walgreens payroll department is split into 2 sections, one is the regular payroll, and the other is the disability payroll department, the same Company managing 2 differents departments.
Please I need feedback
Apologies for my grammar and handwriting mistakes.

Hire a good workers compensation attorney--he or she will tell you that they will fight for you and your rights. This is a claim that will be covered by the state department of workers comp and by disability. It is Sedgwicks determination only and will not matter in the end. If this occurred on the clock while performing work related duties, this is a covered injury.

Yeah I'm in the same boat as OP. I currently have a lawsuit against Brazzers and Porn Hub for causing me carpel tunnel over a ten year period as well. I'll keep you all updated.

The ladder is a max of like 7-8 feet and if you get hurt falling 7 feet boo hoo. Get ur old ass up dust off ur pants stop being clumsy and a whiner. This job is such a low impact job u shouldn't need disability. I've fallen off the top shelf to the concrete. Took a break then came back and I was fine
