Hospital Pharmacy Technician

I just got a second part-time job at a hospital. Just so you all know out there, being a pharmacy tech in retail vs. a hospital setting is like night and day. The work in a hospital is a lot more stressful, but the pay is a lot better, too.

Well a hospital pharm tech does more technical work, even preparing IVs in some cases, so they deserve the pay bump. You can actually make a livable wage in a hospital as a tech, although you still have to work just as quickly as retail in most cases unless you work overnight.
