Wagner seems like a nice guy who's been given marching orders to cut costs, and has no choice but to grin and bear it.

Wasson is a short-sighted idiot with no vision, and a puppet for the board of directors.

I see them both as just trying to take care of number one. They may have some mild form of compassion for us that work in the stores but It's very limited. They rely on the stores for their salaries and they will cut simply for the company's overall survival., end of story.

Sounds crase but have never liked Wasson and his smile..there is something about him that seems fake to me.As for Wagner..unsure.
Regardless of howe all feel about them- I thnk it's pretty obvious as to how they feel about us.We are there because we need the money and they need us to make it ..

Not just AP. I was in AR and I got the old heave-ho. They're going live with that stuff soon.

As for the DUI's, that was Wade Miquelon the CFO. Yet another imbecile, though he's at least smart enough to keep his head down and not be noticed (and despised) by the employees.

They suck because instead of helping out our assistant managers and bumping up the budget up a little bit they send all the store managers go to Vegas. They don't give a shit about the employees doing all the dirty work.

I use to like Wagner.

Back a few years ago, he sent an email calling for less work in the stores. He tried to push for lower numbers of ad tags to be put up. Seemed like he understood the workload on the store level.

Now I've seen him ignore question after question on his blog. This I see him post about how proper training is "a huge expense". He made it seem like it's a waste of time and money to properly train the staff.

I also see him respond about how being negative on his blog is useless or unproductive or something to that effect. I've lost my respect for him.

I've never respected Wasson much. His Wasson letter every week is a constant push to work harder and harder and some BS about how he appreciates us. Yet he cuts more hours while he gets a fat 30% bonus off the backs of his workers.

I can't wait for Wasson to resign.

The company is going to end up in the crapper with these two guys running the show. Would love to see how they "fluff" things up to make themselves look good to the board. I hope BOD realize soon that we are about to tank, and we need strong leadership that knows pharmacy, the core of our business!

I heard Wagner posts a lot of personal blogs on the Walgreens employee website and mentions that any feedback is most welcome, it can be a pretty funny read because all of the employees are not afraid to tell him how it is (and I mean they are really blunt and to the point), but he ignores all the messages.
