I'd guess 35k for ASMT and 42k for ASM for the majority of markets. The ASM's will be promised a better bonus structure to offset the slight loss of salary.

Are these positions already in place in Arizona? Wasn't Arizona a pilot for this whole rewire/"Project Edison" stuff?

42k would be a bit more than slight in our market, currently exa starting pay - bonus is $2100 bi weekly, so basically we would get dumped by 25-40%?

Mgt in Arizona. Program started with 6 stores in Phoenix. Moving forward with it because it worked out so great. " there was no negative feedback " The thing is all mgts are reapplying for their jobs. Application being in January 2013. Interviews in March 2013. By June 2013 the mgt position will be no longer, Being selected will be based on your last yearly evaluation. Heard there's only 10 spots per community. Im sure a lot of mgts will have no choice but demote themselves. The new shift lead position in this market starts at 11 dollars and max pay is 14 dollars. You have the same responsibilites as a mgt.

There is NO pay cut for EXA's because its not a step down. ASM T will be what your current salary is if you are an MGT. this was in compass.

Yeah, it's spelled out pretty clearly there'll be no pay cuts due to the restructuring unless you're demoted. I guess if you're an EXA/SM who considers your Bonus apart of your yearly salary, you may see a paycut, but Bonuses are just that, bonus. It's not apart of your income and should not be expected.

The way I'm looking at it, EXAs transitioned into ASM will either be capped immediately, or be capped shortly after. MGTs who go into ASM-T will start at the same rate, or may see a small increase...but will see a greater increase when officially promoted to ASM(probably 40K salary + bonus). If you make more than 40k a year as an MGT and get into ASM, you'll probably just keep your current salary and have a bonus tacked onto it with raises until you reach the cap.

I know many will argue how unfair it is, but if I make it to ASM-T and then ASM, I'll just be happy to keep my wages and maybe even increase them, even if it means more work and time.

It won't bother you to be potentially be making $10K less than your ASM counterparts who were previously EXA's? Many do make $50K.

Same thing happened here to an EXA who already was making 53k. She told me she was told 50k was the new bottom pay rate for SM.
