Where are all the good and honest attorneys out there ? why aren't they helping people to get justice from this scum Evil company called Walgreens? Not only employees are being wronged but also customers of this God Damned company. I believe a lot of employees of Walgreen are taking their vendetta against the company on the customers who many of them are contemplating to sue the company's f*cking ass . But where are those attorneys who are supposed to be the Guardians of Justice and pillars of the community?

Yes, i still have a lawsuit going on. Had carpal tunnel over a year ago on both hands, both hands have severe nerve damage and i have been with this company for 18 yrs and they claim it's not work related. Handed in a doctors note stating no pushing, pulling and can't lift anything over 10 lbs,but they don't care!
This is 100% true from my experience. They do not care. If you can work for free, than you a OK, but if you cannot work, they wash hands.

Wait until you get injured (God forbid) and than I'll ask you.

Can you share the name of your attorney? Is it an Ohio only case? Some California employees want to get their overtime, too. Thanks!

EXA, Why were you an EXA? To get a store right? To prove you had what it takes? That is what being an EXA is about. It's kind of like being hazed before you join a frat. If you were good enough, you would have a store, but you obviously weren't and quit. That's part of the game to weed out the weak and those not dedicated to their career. You have to earn it, ot be given it.

Of course that's what being an EXA is all about but they should be paid for their thime just like anyone else. Sounds like you're from corporate.

Google any large company name and put the word racist next to it. Does this mean that every company is racist. Most of the lawsuits are completely fraudulant. Makes me sick.

I think your comments show how uninformed you are as a person. Comparing a company to hell is probably your frustration coming out in your comments. You sound really bitter and unfortunately when your lawsuit is dismissed we will only see more comments. I hope you find peace and some grammar lessons to help you write an informed opinion about Walgreens. Try getting an education instead of wasting the legal systems time in unfounded litigation. Have a great day!

Let me tell you all something. Whether you love or hate Walgreens, the fact remains that Walgreens has some explaining to do. Similar things happen with other large companies. However, having experienced EVERYTHING that has come before this post, I can vouch for their posts.

Tom, you just need to quit talking. You're digging yourself a deeper hole. I promise you, and I'll swear that on the Bible, you WILL find out what we are talking about. It may take 5 months, it may take 15 years as you have seen. When it comes to the numbers, that's all Walgreens cares about. If you are on the in crowd, good. Stay there. Keep kissing their ass. That's what they want. They want you to bust your ass for horrible wages and then they want you to go home happy at the end of the day.

As for the rest of you who are filing complaints, I shake your hand. I am so sick of this company. They really should be shut down. And the entire time I thought CVS was inferior to Walgreens. HA! They give better customer service than any Walgreens I've been to. I'm currently writing a letter describing the 14 months worth of bullshit to the new CEO. Maybe he won't be brainwashed like the rest of them. If that doesn't work, I'll be calling a lawyer. I'm tired of being taken advantage of and then being told that I should be happy with what I have. If I wanted to live in that society, I'd resurrect Hitler. Walgreens can go fuck themselves.

as a pharmacy manager starting in 1974 and ending in 1998- due to age discrimination i did not make the formula for getting health insurance not meeting the 25yrs employment/55 yrs of age formula
there as a friend of mine who hung himself due to the company policy - where if you reached 50 you were made to be a relief pharmacist after 30 yrs with the company - the district manager went to the icu waiting room to do damage control but never when in to see tom philepek . this policy was so blantant that walgreen lost the suit but it was not publicly known. so much for employee loyalty!!!!

I filed a claim at the EEOC against Walgreens based on gender and nationality discrimination (I'm a hispanic female and had gotten pregnant during my employment)back in Sept '08. I only wanted to do the sex part but the lady added nationality to the claim anyways. I haven't heard from them since. What do you guys suguest I do?? I can't keep waiting around for them but they said they would contact me and not to contact them. I can't really afford a lawyer since I just had the baby, what should I do??
