Good luck to all the plaintiffs against Walgreen's with your bogus claims. It should be an easy few dollars in your pockets. Try working for your money. It is much more gratifying.

Hey Tom...know what you are talking about before you open your "yapper". Many of us who did work for Walgreens got screwed because we were salary and did not get paid for the overtime we worked. Wouldn't you want the money that is rightfully yours? So next time you say "try working for your money", make sure you are not sterotyping OR you can work for me while I get paid. Seems that you like it that way.

Tom, I too have a lawsuit against Walgreens, I have worked for the company for many years. I dont think that you really know the company you work for. I hope that you never have to deal with what I have to.

Yes, i still have a lawsuit going on. Had carpal tunnel over a year ago on both hands,both hands have severe nerve damage and i have been with this company for 18 yrs and they claim it's not work related. Handed in a doctors note stating no pushing,pulling and can't lift anything over 10 lbs,but they don't care!

The Walgreens call center I worked at never helped it's employees, pitted people against each other and then fired them after they did what they were told to do as far as harrassing other employees, and worst of all screwed up paychecks and 401k's so bad that my accountant was constantly amazed, by the way, there's plenty of reverse discrimination to go along with the initial discrimination case.

Auntie M - My attorneys and I are very interested in all lawsuits pending or being filed against Walgreen's, especially concerning illegal retaliation and discrimination matters. I know they have been very, very bad, too.

Hello Sheila,

My attorney and I are meeting with the EEOC on the 23rd at 8:30 am. You have hit on 2 of our major points but she would have to deal directly with your attorneys. I will speak to her about it and maybe we can help each other.
My e-mail is [email protected]
Answer me there from today forward please.

on april 4-08.on my day off. I came in for another team mate.My so called store manager came to cosmetics where I was at and started yelling at me and was up on my face over the counter swinging his arms at me.The e-x manager was two feet away and did nothing to control the yelling in front of customers.I can't sleep peacefully anymore.

I'm a former EXA who worked about 60-70 hrs a week. I probably supervised people 20% of the time and stocked, ETC.....80% of time. I usually worked from 8am until 6/7 pm monday through saturday. I would like to talk to anyone who has a overtime lawsuit against Walgreens. E-mail me at [email protected] I also know its bogus because on the occasions that my store manager forgot to put my hours in he had to manually pay me which automaticaly pays you 40 reg and 4 overtime.

I agree with the discrimination old against young ,the old ones do all the work,never want you to take your vacations,etc.The young folks work if and they want,And you have to beg for a raise thought it was at once a year!

Hi Sheila;
I don't know if I could prove it but I really feel like I'm being discriminated against because of the way the young kids are treated better than us older folks they get all their weekends off Ican understand when they are going to school but when they are out ,we should not have to work every weekend. etc.
