So we have to wait that long to find out if we have jobs or not that may give me a ulcer or the need for some calm down medication that I pride myself that I am holding on but can not believe all the coworkers I know from my store and others who are on them.

gnn, i agree. all of us are sick wondering whats happening and when. of course i work in a state where theres like 7 districts and im sure not one of them will be fired or layed off and keep makeing the six figures

saying corp will see some reductions, stores employees will be screwed over/laid off/fired and of course im sure no district waste of payrolls would ever be affected who else would give such wonderful guidance just kididng, their all overpaid idiots

Wondering if meets expectations may or may not be good enough to keep your job. I have noticed in the past that your evaluation depends on your store manager. Like I know that first sm would evaluate me higher than my current one and I don't think that I've gotten to be a worse mgt over the last four years. In fact I think I have improved. What do y'all think as far as the evaluations?

First is a company wide hiring freeze. Who knows what will happen next. My guess is staff reduction after they know the true impact of lost esi revenue.

Had a conference call today, hiring freeze starts 1/9/12 for all store positions. You can guess what they'll do next. My SM is a stuck up bitch that thinks she's the best ever. I'm twice her age have 30yrs expirience and she thinks EXA's should do everything wand she should do nothing. I can't wait for my review! I'm hope Wasson and the board of directors burn in hell.

Hm, I was wondering what that call was about. Our SM had a conference call today as well and I'm living nowhere near you. Guess that confirms its company wide.

Well... That's just perfect wonder what their plans are for new store staff considering the building is up... Let it rot?

Possibly... But, with the limited opportunities available at the moment for a RMT promotion it kinda craps on lower personnel such as myself. It's not often a new store opens in a community forcing openings.

Not sure what's going on at my store. Haven't heard of a hiring freeze, but that might be because my SM insists he needs more 'bodies'.

So nothing is how they would say. I bet if I asked my sm about this conference call he would so deny it! He normally denies anything I ask him that I learn on the blog and says all it does it feed negativity. I'm like no one else is going to tell me the truth and I don't want to be left in the dark as to what's really going on. Will rx employees be considered more valuable to the store than the others? Meaning when their hours are cut will they offset this by giving them some of the other store employee hours and then in turn cut other employee hours? Also which parts of management will be the first to go and why? Thanks for the info!
