I just received my new health insurance cards. It now has prescription info on it. Does anyone know if RX coverage for 2013 has changed?

It's the same info we have always used... Just now it's on the card in case someone doesn't know how to use it

It would be nice if the RX plan covers outside of WAG pharmacies. I know some people would not like their profiles be accessible to their coworkers.

Yep, totally agree Grease. Other Wags employees go to other Walgreens locations other than the one I work at, specifically so others they work with cannot see their health info.

It almost seems like a HIPAA violation to force us ONLY to use our company/place of business to get prescriptions filled.

I know Wags employees who will go to Walmart or CVS and pay $$$$$ out of pocket just so their prescription info is not in the Walgreens database.

It is a HIPAA violation. It's crazy. Aren't all the stores linked up? I thought the database was the same and if you went to another store people from your store could still look you up!

What section of HIPAA does it violate? You can't tell me cause there is none that address this.

Actually, you can lock your profile to a specific store. You can only look up the patient, but only their contact info will pop-up; you can't edit it or go into their drug profile
