I hated working at walgreens. They hired me as a stl as a student. The mgr told me a week after I was hired he needed me to work overnight for a short time...for $11.50. Then I was stuck. Nothing I did was ever good enough for them. I was exhausted all the time, I could never sleep, developed gi problems.

I eventually quit. Well, I got them to send me home. I did everything they said. Filed a claim with emp relations and beat them at their own game.

I left with a big fat check of $8000. suck on that! eat s**t walgreens =)

The main concern I would have is the severity of your health problems. Now that you probably don't have insurance since you quit, the medical bills may eat through that 8k rather quickly.

And what makes you think that was a woman posting. I'd say that your post definitely hit the "dumb" mark spot on.

Not a woman. Not sure how my comment made it look like I was a woman but You are indeed a moron. I was referring to this person thinking 8k was a huge amount. But you prob only make 8k a year so to you that would be a lot.

Probably has another job now, was on Medicaid for their health insurance. The op did state they were a student, so they probably get financial aid. Sounds like they got what they deserved from Walgreens.

Thank God you quit! Walgreens is trying to get rid of weak people like you. If you ever want to move up in the company, sometimes you have to go through sh*t to get there. And $8,000??? Youre happy with that? How the hell can you live off of $8,000. You probably live in your parents basement or something.

Seriously?! When did they ever state they were living off of $8,000? The op stated they were told the overnight position would be for a short time and then got stuck on the overnight. And, they also stated they were a student, so yes, they probably still live at home with their parents, so $8,000 will come in handy while they go to school. Yes, thank God they quit and don't have to deal with Walgreens, changes, lists, or under paid SLs. Good for you!

You are probably a 30 year old living with your parents. Sh*t happens sometimes. Suck it up. If you want a job, sometimes you have to do some sh*t work. We all do. Stop crying.
