Walgreen's is full of crazy,ignorant,self centered, lazy ass people,and that's just starting with the day shift at my store! I just can't deal with the incompetence any more!
I literally can't even get through one day without dealing with so many dysfunctional people!

I wish you did not speak in such generalities and were much more specific about these people you do not think much of and why you think this way.

There is nothing to go on with such a bold claim that basically everyone but you is crazy or lazy and stupid. You must have something to say about this, but you are just saying everyone is wrong and you are the only sane person. I think the unibomber felt this way also.

So you have never been in a job where the majority of your coworker's just don't care about their job? Venting is a way to cool off and i'm not interested in calling out anyone in particular, a collective shout out sometimes is needed. Doing the right thing day in and day out is difficult when absolutely no one around you bothers to care or even feel obligated to try to do whats required in their job. Really,the UNIBOMBER, a little dramatic?

Hang in there.....better yet transfer or find a new job;

There are a few lazy and incompetent people at my store too who basically just get a free paycheck. It's disgusting, and unfortunately, I think every store has at least one like that.

Actually, it's the UnAbomber. I don't think he thought everyone was crazy and he was sane. He was opposed to the world's industrial and technological systems. Smart guy. Though wrong for killing people.

eeekkks This sounds like the store I use to work at lazy ass people including the SM. Anyone that put in an honest days work was a problem.Often I could have half of cos truck totes put away before 4 other people working totes for the rest of the store even thought about working.Tags, they just tossed them into the trash if I wasn't there..It takes 30 tours,with the CL, DM plus piles of other people to write notes for people that are never going to see them because they don't come to work because at my former store calling off twice a week was the norm.Transfer out of that Beeetch!

Put that blame on your sm. he/she are the ones that hired those lazy asses as you put it and continue to keep them for some reason.
I've floated stores and worked at 7-10 stores and can agree some stores are just full of lazy rude people...my store is full of wonderful caring people who are basically family.
This shows we have a strong sm as well a our mgmt staff in general.
Yes you are right,everyone in my store knows our manager is inept, i choose to carry on with my responsibilities while others take advantage of the situation.How long can this Store Manager possible last ,right?

I am kind of jealous of the woman at Walmart parked blocking the exit door, loading her newer car full of groceries , and then can not fit the 3 kids in the back seat due to so much food. When you see 3 kids all pushing carts , you know it is all free to them compliments of a Food Stamp Card.

I shop veggies, meat and bread with a basket so I know I am under $20.00.

Everyone talking about changing jobs, there are no jobs out there. Have to deal with what we have.
Companies are NOT going to go back to catering to the employees.

We need to help each other survive and adjust. Do not want to be the next Block Buster or JCP.
