Has anyone started it yet? What kind of questions are there? Can you print it and take it home?

From what I've been told, it's nothing like last year. You don't have to do all that b.s. answering with comments that half the people did wrong. Pretty simple and straightforward

I did mine a few days ago. It had 2 parts, math test and personality assessment. I applied externally although I am an internal candidate, long story, I'm not going to bore you with it. It took me about 3 hours to complete it from start to finish. Math part was timed, you had 45 min to finish it. The personality part wasn't timed and was ridiculously long and tedious. You won't be able to print out the math part, but you could probably print out the personality assessment. I was able to apply from home. My CL told me later that I passed, however it's not official until the applications close on the 11th. If you apply internally the process might be different from what I described. Best of luck.

Literally my app took like 35mins including math assessment. The first part was name, address, etc. That took like 5 mins. Then step 2 was tge math test....so easy a 2nd grader would have aced the test.

What is this personality test someone speaks about? If u applied like an external candidate, u might have screwed urself.

I haven't been able to apply. My town/city isn't even listen when searching PPH-Applicant View, even though there are positions available.

My district covers several states (rare thing). Anyways if I log-in to PPH it brings up my district but only towns/cities in a neighboring state. Is anyone else having problems where they can't apply/it won't bring up their city/state?

I don't think I would call it a "personality test", but last year's app included something like 5-6 open-ended essay style questions that had to do with management competencies, almost like a behavioral interview in text form. Answers could be a little more general than an interview question, but they still expected details. Example - "Briefly describe your experience or greatest accomplishment in customer service" and so on. Those questions were a big part of initial application grading, and many were denied right from the start for not taking those questions seriously enough to give more than once sentence as an answer. It gave them a pretty big head-start on weeding people out. I guess it's probably for the best if they took that out, but it makes me wonder how scoring is going to work this year.

As for the resume - According to HR here, they said the resume would not part of the scoring for internal applications, and is more there for the consideration of outside applicants. It is, however, expected for all candidates in the interview process, so be sure to have it by then.

External had a extra test besides the math test.

Alot of people had to apply externally because the internal regulations got buggered up in terms of filtering.

It's like they are trying to set it up where mostly only mgts qualify for it.
