Do you still do tender counts?

I never got the point of having to do tender counts half way through the day now that we all share registers. Do you guys still do this?

Yes. In my district we still have to. Do we do them as often as required is a different question. To answer your question though, doing them at shift change and at random times throughout the day helps to keep honest people honest and identify those who are not.

Yeah, at the very least we do it with shift change at the front and in photo (still have 2 shifts on most days). The employees at these registers actually demand it and I don't blame them.

Corporate requirement is 2 per day non-24, or 1 per shift 3 for 24 hour stores, My District policy is 2 per Assistant.

we are not a 24 hr store but each Mgr has to do 3 a day, at least 1 hr apart and one has to be in Rx

My store is way too busy to even attempt one at the front register after 8am.

depends on the store. i did at the store with a shrink problem. i dont at my current store.
