Honestly. Has anyone sold any of her merchandise? I'm in a very high volume store in an upscale neighborhood and we have sold 2 pieces total since the display went up. Just curious.

so far we sold one notebook to a 9 year old girl and a t-shirt to a elderly woman who is sure that her 23 year old granddaughter is going to love it.

She will be in concert at Soldier Field in early August. We are selling her T-shirts, fragrace gift sets, and notebooks. Maybe even more than that. People are going to be spending a lot of money for tickets to that show. Check out prices and prepare to be amazed.

I asked at our store how the Taylor Swift merchandise was selling because I was curious. I was told that we sold a few CDs but I don't know who bought them. Everyone around me has have loaded their music onto their smartphones. Don't think anyone around me has bought a CD for years. I don't even know what groups anyone is listening to anymore because everyone is wearing earbuds.

When our endstand was up front - I sold a notebook, World Tour book thingy, a t shirt and something else. All to one person. Yeah, they spen their whole paycheck from the restaurant they work at. And that's the last I ever had to deal with her.

I have sold a few notebooks and one CD. That's it.
The endstand still looks full.
I really hope that when it gets time to dump the product, they go 90% off (like they did with the Zhu-Zhu pets and Redakai gaming cards). Better yet, a call-in would be ideal. Otherwise, we'll never get rid of that junk.

Since she's paying for that space and is on into next year I expect it will be call in when the time comes............

Look for the distribution centers to start dumping some of their stock onto the stores. Just this past week my store got a number of TS crap and we hadn't sold any (I did a movement report).

I sold one of the guitar picks. Which is more than I have sold of the "ology" endstand.

Honestly, I'm thinking about taking it down, putting up toys on both endstands and dealing with the consequences after I make my numbers and everyone else doesn't.

You need to understand that Walgreens isn't exactly the first place i think of to buy a cd. FYE or Best Buy usually comes to mind. And yes, plenty of people still buy cd's....my daughter loves Taylor Swift and the fact i work here made it one less thing i had to go buy for her this year. But with that said the reason it is not selling is not because of the artist but the simple fact that people do not walk into a Walgreens and expect a cd and merchandise shop...it may catch on, who knows.
