I am irritated at the manor business is conducted at the Walgreen's in Marion. If you know me well, it takes a lot to get me upset. Anyway the story. Saturday night after having a great dinner with my kids 34 and 22 at Zoey's, we stopped by the Walgreen store to buy a few items...detergent, foot callous remover, and candy bars. No big ticket items. Well the whole time the so called manager in charge kept following us, watching our every move around the corner, or standing close to us watching us...for the entire ten minutes we were there. It was obvious he suspected shop lifting. I was a manager of a retail store and I know the actions. But now me, a grandmother and nurse, my son, an IT manager, my daughter, a college graduate and now in grad school. We certainly looked like hardened criminals, this must be the case.To say the least this blatant display of rude bias will cause me to never shop at that store again. That goodness for Hy-Vee Drugstore and CVS....you now get my business. As for our clothes, we had just left church 3 hours earlier.

LOL customers think we care hahahahaha. Get bent lady. I don't care about anything but money and you shopping somewhere else isn't gonna change jack. You're probably so stupid and lazy you'll come back in a month or two anyways.

Thanks for your comments, be well. Greg Wasson CEO

We as employees could care less anymore about you as a customer If you are a stockholder then you deserve this treatment. If not then I am sorry but corporate has a list for me too big to help you.

Oh and while they cut our travel pay bonuses etc etc go shop elsewhere as I will work elsewhere soon.

At the corner of dont give a shit and losing my witt

See we're not allowed to say that on the Walgreens Facebook page. Then customers try to turn you in and get you fired. First hand experience here although I wasn't being mean, just told a customer she had an attitude for being rude to the Walgreens employees and no shit she's trying to get me fired for that.

Just leave the mean comments on Facebook to Vernon Cunningham. He tells customers like it is in a very hysterical way. It seems he has carved out his retirement time daily to say what y'all really shouldn't since most profiles are easily accessible. I have yet to see the moderator tell him to shut up an "be well."

You seem unusually agitated over something so trivial. Maybe that particular store has an issue with kleptomaniac church ladies. To toss out that you're a nurse, your son is an IT person and your daughter is I college is so ridiculous I was speechless for a moment. Do you think educated people don't commit crimes? For someone who claims to have retail experience, you of all people should know better.

Re: Church "ladies"
They steal the pantyhose in our store because they are the only ones left on the planet that wear the shit.
I see them do it, and they act so annoyed if you ask them if they need help finding a size or color. They take the hose out of the packaging and leave the empty packaging on the peg or leave the plastic ball behind. Then they go to your register with the sale nips and after you ring them up and tell them to be well they respond with a God bless you. WTF!!!!

Oh yeah, shoplifters always look like shoplifters. They all ... wait don't most shoplifters look just like everyone else?
Lady if you were in retail you obviously weren't very good at it.

while more and more people shop elsewhere, wags just keeps downsizing staff.
Perhaps if they actually cared about their customers they might start making some money.
I say take it out of Wasson's pay. If the stock drops in price so should his pay.
