Wag's new ad campaign has ruined my enjoyment of the CCR song Down on the Corner. It was one of my favorite songs that only a corporation could ruin. Walgreens located at the corner of I couldn't give a crap!

The location of Walgreens is very important.
Your location can and should change. Just a matter of time.

I wish they would just pick an effing corner and stay there!! They have at least 2 "corners" I can think of at the moment. The one "cute kid and where's the hand sanitizer" and of course the b.s. "happy and healthy". Gotta love most the regular customers, at least they see thru wag's crap :)

I heard that also. And apparently they are already receiving royalties from a film maker using it in his movie.

...Don't forget buying half of the stake and assuming loads of debt from a failing drug store in Europe. Because the money has to come from somewhere, and heaven forbid Wasson and his cronies take any financial respocibility.

LOL! Sometimes I wish he would be man enough to go on that show "undercover bosses"....I feel like he needs to experience his choices from the store level! Be forced to work and do all the B.S. we put up with on a daily basis for one week...might make him realize a thing or two!!

THAT show should be cancelled for the same reason h8ters was.

Obvious BS, nothing more than a way for their weekly 'famous person' to show how they could relate to the 'common man.'

Hidden cameras work far better than staged appearances. Anyone up to the challenge??

No he went to a few a few stores by me though. I do have an MGT friend who works at one of the stores he visited. Wasson asked a few people how they thought the new layout of the wellness stores was working to customers advantage. From what I was told 2 people started to comment and he just walked away....what an a$$

I had a couple corporate Wellness Experience people like that too when I tried to give honest feedback during conversions. Some of the others took more interest and actually listened instead of acting like it was just a 'training issue'.

Yes most like to say its "a training issue" and to some extent they are right. I try to "train" my customers on how to read the BIG aisle markers that specifically say WHAT items are in each aisle lol if they could "train" the dipstick who creates the planos that would be a true miracle! unfortunately all they really want to hear is how beautiful the WELL stores are and how the customers flock to us because of its beauty. Last year my store did get a fairly large group of corporate in to visit the newly completed store. One woman said "we love the pharmacist consultation desk, where is your pharmacist anyway?" With a big smile I said "oh they haven't been able to sit on the sales floor since our RX hours were cut." She immediately got on her cell phone lol
