Cos uniforms should be neat , clean line, black blazer or jacket that actually fit right, not some tee-shirt 5 times too big or more ill fitting uniform concepts that look dumpey , defeating the entire purpose of even having uniforms.
To those who have the uniforms already... I am just about at teh larger end of an extra large vest. I am torn at which size to get. Nothing looks worse than an ill fitting vest.

Im so confused on what kind of uniform my location will give me. I have heard that BA will get the jackets, but then I have heard we will only be getting shirts. What is it????

The vests have fit differently each time I got a new order - the first one was larger and the second was more true to size - I'd order a size up. You don't want to be stuck with one that doesn't fit at all.

It has a pull thing in the back to somewhat help with the look/fitting of the vest to pull it in around the sides.

As a female you get a black long sleeved button up shirt with a pink undershirt to wear underneath. You do not want to wear the pink shirt without something over it because they are see-through. They're only meant to kind of 'peek a boo' triangle at the top so you are bringing out some of the pink that is used in the Cos department.

If you were male, it'd be slate grey shirt.

So you aren't getting a jacket, but an undershirt and a long sleeved button up shirt.

So stupid I worked for Walgreens a long time ago. Managers had the same dress code in the 90's, it seems like they are loosing there minds. Good luck all too all of you.

It's about time Walgreens try doing something about uniforms.I always got stuck working with people in Cos. that wore no makeup and dressed like a busted down version of The Harlem Globe Trotters![Go figure that person would ring up $40.00 a shift?)Cosmetics are visual, no one wants to buy products or take advice from slobs that don't even have the socail inteligence to know what proper work attire should be. Professional style of dress is the indusrty standard.Com ing to work neat and clean is part of any entry level position. I thought the tee-shirts enabled the lack of care for personal hygene and grooming.
the ones i work with dont wear make up and look crappy, only one person wears makeup. its awful. and we have this one girl who just stand around over in cos and doesnt ring up but maybe 10.00$ in sales!!

I think t-shirts look crappy no matter what job your in, with that being said, I am still working in a profession workplace. I would like to at least look nice if I have to be forced to wear a uniform!
When I started almost a year ago, my then store manager, had said that we dont follow a specific uniform, and that we only have to dress "nice and approiate" meaning we need to wear black dress pants, and tan, black, white shoes and nice shirts. Since then, we have people that come to work wearing uggs, and not looking nice at all. We also have people who wear leggings only, which look crappy.
I think we should all have to wear vests, and we can pick the color of our undershirt. With me being bigger, I dont like wearing t-shirts, i think they look redlicious.

At my store we don't even have uniforms we just wear whatever we want as long as its blue. Any shade any style. Some people wear striped shirts or other colors along with blue. I'm excited for us to get uniforms so people can stop asking if I work there.

Uniforms will not stop that. People are always going to ask if you work there. You could hold a giant neon sign and they would still say, "excuse me, do you work here?"

This is about the third uniform change since I started with Walgreens. Really why keep changing it? Haven't they heard the saying "don't fix what's not broken"?

Oh I HATE that! I wear a blue shirt that says Walgreens on the back, I have a name badge on which also states I am a Walgreens employee, I am stocking a shelf, and then get "excuse me, do you work here?". Face palm!

If I go in on a day off, in my pajamas, with a cell phone to my ear, I always get someone who recognizes me and asks for help. Double face palm!

IT's not a vest, it's a long sleeve shirt. No one wears a vest except for management/SFLs.

Male beauty advisor is a long sleeve button up shirt with a dark slate grey undershirt.

They have pictures of the uniforms for the stores who already have access to start ordering.

Heck, even if you can't order yet you might still have access to look at the website which has pictures of all the uniforms on it.

Take the vests to Alterations Express they can take it in if needed it's not that much $.I agree it's all about proper fit. You can be big, small, fat skinny if clothing is poor fitting it's a lost cause.
