There's like 4 songs I can't stand.
But one is so significant that when it comes on, my mood just flips.
I don't know the songs name but it sounds like a mediocre metal band. I HATE THAT SONG, SO MUCH. IT DRIVES ME INSANE BECAUSE I LOVE METAL MUSIC.
The chorus starts ,"when the darkness falls"
And blah blah blah. Its a disgrace.

I've only heard this song just a handful of times and I've tried google searches on the partial lyrics? i have but always come up empty.

It's slow Irish-sounding, can't understand any of the chorus but when he gets more upbeat he says something like "so come on, lets have a fight ... get ready". Definitely not much to go on but maybe someone already familiar with it will know of it.

Male Singer or Male band: Lyrics are as follows: dreamin with lights on, dreamin with the lights on. Sleeping much better now that I am awake. You can't justify yourself thru someone. That last part (you can't justify yourself thru someone is repeated like 3 or 4 times at the end of the song) At the very beginning there is lyrics that go: shoulda been a lawyer, a rocker. Shoulda been a doctor a comedian a Texan. Not sure in which order though those go but those are in it. PLEASE HELP! thanks :)

I've been searching for this song for months. I've search through this forum and didn't find it, I emailed muzak and they never responded so I'm dying here. The song goes "...so here's my heart just take it, I know you could do great things if I just let you"
There's a guy and a girl singing and its acoustic. Any help would be so great.
It's called If I Just Let You! I have been searching for it since I started working at Walgreens!!

Still searching for the same song. It doesn't play as often as it used to anymore. Now I catch it about once a week. It's a female singer, a very soft voice like Christina Perri. I caught some more of the lyrics, it's a bit of the chorus so it's jumbled. But this is what I have "I know things have been better but you must keep searching for things that we learn on our own. Things can only go up from here. Up up up up up. And you can only go up from here. Up up up up up. Look on the bright side. Cheer up you sorry sack(sod?). Nothing can stop you now. I know times have been better but we must keep looking for these things on our own." That's what I have. Been looking for it for ages, and I know it's definitely not Shania Twain. Any one have a guess?

Looking for a song I heard at a Tops Friendly Markets. Not Walgreens, but we share a TON of the same music you guys do.
1. It's slower
2. It has a 'haunting' quality to it
3. Prominent lyrics include "come on come on"
4. The "come on come on" are said in quick succession, like comeoncomeon
5. The vocalist is male
6. May be regarded as a type of alternative rock
Any help would be awesome.

How about this song I heard while I was shopping. It starts out with some slow music and the lyrics start like this:
"Sheeeee's just 16 years old...
leave her alone...
they saaaayyyyyy..
...
...
...
"If I could fly,
I'd pick you up,
and take you into the night,
and show you a love,
that you've never seen.... ever seen.."
I LOVE that song. Can someone point me to where I can find out who the singer is?

I'm looking for a song, pretty hard to find, it's been in rotation for about 2+ months: it sound like pop rock with a little alternative flair to it, multiple voices through out song: some lyrics are:
"talk about physics, talk about logistics, the falling of logic"
"before they were gone" or "before they're all gone"
"machines, machines"
"They rolled(rode)hard" or something like that

FINALLY found this one! It's "All the Same" by Roper Band. My store plays another song by them called "Tell it Like it is." I Shazam'd that one and found out the band name.

Further to a question on another thread, does anyone know the title and artist of a song with lyrics like this?
