I wonder how much money Walgreens is making by playing the Geicko advertisement in store.

Another song that I recently discovered that was played on the playlist, when I worked at Walgreens, is "Move Along" by All American Rejects.

I'm not a fan of them, but if that's one song that you may have been searching for, there ya go.

So I found this forum looking for a song that plays here at my Walgreens. I've tried to Shazam it like 5 times to no prevail.. I do know some lyrics, maybe someone can help me out!
The song is a slower, indie-sounding track. Think Mumford and Sons. It mentions God in one part, so maybe it's a Christian Rock song? Idk.. the chorus SOUNDS LIKE he's saying " So lie, So lieeeee, so Pierre, and help me out". I saw some people were talking about a song that mentions "Collide".. could be the same song.
There's another part where the guy sings (what sounds like:)
"I don't wanna be old.. when I'm young (x2)
So please God, give me now, something to believe in(x2)"
If anyone can help me out, I'll be indebted to you for eternity! I'm in a store in Long Island, NY btw!

There's one that I've started hearing recently, it's kind of a downtempo alternative song. It doesn't sound that old to me, so I imagine it's a newer song. It really makes me think of Pinback, if anyone knows that band. I can't hardly make out the lyrics, but there's a repeated shouting part at one point ("We are!" or "I am!", something like that). Another part talks about "transform this travesty" or "tragedy". Shazam turns up nothing, despite me standing on a chair with my phone right in the intercom speaker's face haha. Any suggestions?

I'm embarrassed that I didn't know this until now, because I used to hang out with these guys all the time. I even have the CD with this song on it. Doh!

They've only played this song a few times since I've been there but it has a more recent 2000s sound to it and it sounds like he says "when I come to here, you're not far" and "hold on to something more" if anyone else knows this song let me know because its driving me crazy.

There's a poppy song I heard tonight while I was working Photo, and I cannot find it online. It was a girl singing, kinda poppy and it had 'took my pictures off the wall / called your ex-girlfriend' or something like that in the chorus. I have zero idea what it was. I need to know the name of this song!
Also, I share many of your woes with Tom Jones and Mary Hopkins. In my store, every day from about 5pm to 7pm it's just malt shop oldies. Not the good ones, either.
one of my managers is looking for that song too. the lyrics we have so far are. "tonight i'm taking your pictures off my wall" "giving my ex boyfriend a call" "tonight the last thing on my mind is your stupid face consider yourself replaced"

I was in Walgreens today, and a song played that said "you're still the song in my heart that keeps playing" and "all the voices in my head are saying we were meant to be" or something like that. It was by a guy, and I LOVED it, but can't find it! Does anyone know that it is?

There is a song I tried to soundhound it but could never get anything. It's a beach/surfer sounding song with just guitar and drums. This song is not to be confused with Nitro by Dick Dale (check that one out).

Me and my husband were in the store today and we heard a song that sounded like indie/folkie and possibly acoustic. It was a male singing, but every so often a woman harmonized with him. It reminded me of De, like Denison Witmer (like the song are you a dreamer?) while my husband says it sounds like Nickle Creek, if you are familiar with either of those bands.

The Lyrics are like
"I've heard (seen? been told?) you can do amazing (anything?).." and "If I give you my heart" or "If I give myself to you"

We have been googling it all day and can't seem to find it. If anyone knows, let us know haha. Also, I think I might be able to help out with some of these. I'm going to check my playlist for a few. If I solve any of these, I'll let you know.

Ok you all have some really tough ones to figure out. I'll keep my ears out when I'm at the store and see if I can figure any of them out. I used to work there but the songs I remember have already been identified.

Our playlist was recently updated or our subscription changed. Yes! Lol, we don't have that muskrat love any more, I haaaated that song, wanted to bang my head against the wall whenever it came on, and that Damon pussycat song, ugh! Lol .
I recently heard:
A song by Pink,
How to save a life,
She-wolf by Shakira,
Adele songs
I think I heard a Rihanna song, disturbia? But wasn't too sure.
As long as you love me mix by Justin Beiber.
Justin Timberlake,
Tina Turner,
3 Doors Down
And one weekend I heard Ciara, I forgot the name of the song, I thought that one was a little too risqe for Walgreens. But, I Haven't heard it ever again.
Aerosmith' s "...I don't want to miss a thing..."
I am actually ok with the music they have now...They occasionally still play "the cats in the cradle" which after listening to it, is very sad.
SMs can change the stores muzak programming cause I remember our employees asking our SM to change it a few months back, and then it changed a few weeks later.
Maybe they need the DMs approval, but they can change it.

Omg this song! I cannot find it anywhere. Soundhound and shazam have nothing and I have quite a few of the lyrics but google and bing have apparently never heard of it!

These are the only lyrics i can remember right now (in no particular order):
"Tonight I'm taking your pictures off the wall, I'm giving my ex boyfriend a call." Then something like "the one you always ..." Idr what it says after that.

"Well it lasted all of thirty days, I'm sure you'll say it was just a phase, but now it's time for me to phase you out. I'm so thankful you needed space, all I had to do was wait. Three weeks and one day, now you've been replaced. "

"Tonight, you're taking her pictures off the wall, you're giving your ex girlfriend a call. "

"Tonight, the last thing on my mind is your stupid face, consider yourself replaced. "

It's driving me nuts! How can no one know what song this is? XD I've heard it about 5 times now, always at night between 8 & 10ish.
