I have worked for this company for over 25 yrs. I have never had a bad evaluation, until this year when it really mattered. I was out on medical leave when the store mgr evaluated me. I did not know about it until I returned. The shaft comes from only working with this mgr. For 2 months before I went out on leave...I have given 100 % to this company only to have them do this to a 25 yr plus employee with never any write ups, no verbals, only one hard working woman who has ruined her back for this company. I still will give 100% because I am the better person!

Sorry to hear what happened to you. Are you going to continue hurting your back for this thankless company? The writing is on the wall. Wasson wants young people. Wisdom and age earns no respect. Google "Walgreens re-energized under Wasson ".
Wishing you the best of luck and document EVERYTHING!

What do you consider a bad review?

I shafted my clerk in the restroom after hours. She seemed to like it.

Put your resume in order. You have a target on your back, it's the 25 years that they don't want. It's the pay level they don't want. Sorry but you are no longer wanted by Wags. Time to find a new job, hope you find a place that considers their employees as an asset, considers paying their employees a living wage, considers experience a plus to the company. Keep track of any remarks that indicate "age" it may put a lot more dough in your pocket.

I've talked to a few SMs with 25years in WAG. They seem pretty paranoid about covering their arses. They want every report filed away, every policy followed. One told me, every decision you make, be sure you got your butt covered.

Did you see the COMPASS memo about excessive quantity of employee purchases? Yet, there's explicit limit mentioned. Open opportunity for policy violations right there. STOP YOUR HOARDING NOW!. It's not worth your job to HOARD THAT CHICKEN OF THE SEA TUNA!

My mgt got a 2.8. Was put on a grow, then pip. All mgts on the grow were then put on the pip. There's no out. Grow is 100% fail rate in my district. Coincidence? I doubt it.

So i might as well be a shafted employee. if you call the hotline and remain anonymous i found it does no good. you still have that store manager who brings you in there cave with there pet who won't even get the astm position because or store manager is a evil bitch. back to my piont though what do you do when you have no open door policy. because no matter what you do your stpre manager will retaliate. against you and she lets you know if you call anonymous. she will still figure it out and corner you????
