Nope. But USA Drug is still up and running so far here. Maybe when they can't go there anymore guess they'll either transfer here or to another pharmacy in town

Not much here. We have a major local employer who has ESI, but they are apart of the narrow network of pharmacies and we aren't contracted (similar to Tricare). We're being told things may change Jan 1st.

Weve had so many it's ridiculously busy and no help here. We need more techs to help with long lines and backed up drive thru.

It's September - did anyone really think that people are going to make huge changes in September?

It's also pretty apparent that a lot of ESI plans took a discount to not allow Walgreens back in. The question is if that discount goes just from September to January or if that's from now until next year.

The real test will be in January after all companies have done their open enrollments and the "new" insurance plans are into place for most people.

In my area I've only heard of one company whose employees were given the green light to go back to Walgreens.

That's because you're probably not using the appointment scheduler to provide "white glove " service! Ha! Whoever thought of that should be shot.

I was supprised our first day back on Saturday we had 3. But on Monday we had 30 come back. But I'm in an area that was hit a little harder on esi than most.

We haven't been overwhelmed at all with people coming back as we were with the exodus.

In our district we got an email from the District RX supervisor stating that when our pharmacists are calling CVS for a transfer that the CVS pharmacists is telling us they'll call us back with the info. They then fill the patients script and call them to let them know its ready with a $25 off coupon. CVS is playing dirty. Since we got ESI back our store has transferred in roughly 200 scripts. Our business is coming back pretty well thus far...

I had someone else tell me that CVS was matching the $25 Walgreens coupon to stay but you actually had to bring in the coupon. I don't know if it is for all plans or just for some plans.

Someone said recently at work that the 90 prescriptions were the last to leave us and those customers might take longer to come back because they might not need to have their prescription filled yet.

I have seen a few new customers with some Express Scripts plans which I have never seen before that are getting rejected. The TPR message just says Walgreens isn't contracted but gives no date or additonal information.

If I call the pharmacy number for the plan, the person tells me to have the customer check the Express Scripts website for the current list of companies and dates. I just suggest to the customer that they call member services and give the customer a copy of the most recent Express Scripts flyer.

The customers aren't happy with the situation but I can't do anything more about it and I don't have any other information that I can share with them.

Same thing happening here in St Louis. We were told to cmd directly for Rx info and skip the call to CVS. We've seen so many groups with PERX that aren't contracted with us that we also need to figure out if we even take their insurance before we do anything. Mmmmm, sorry Mr. So-and-so I'd love to transfer back your scripts, but we still don't take your plan.

We've also had Fry's (grocery) store reject our transfer request to call patients to offer up incentives. That's a good idea on just calling the MD's on rx's.

I think we should be filing complaints with the board of pharmacy. Even better encourage out patients to file complaints for delay of care

I seem to remember that we had some delay tactics when our current Express Scripts customers asked about transferring and other stores were calling for transfers. I don't know if the tactics varied from store to store or district to district.
